Got the delivery of LC trim in Heritage Blue last week for MSRP from Bay area, I was in their Queue at Toyota101.

Wow...what an amazing "take delivery" journey! Here goes...

I put down deposits at 2 dealerships in northern Utah in early March. Both were for Trail Dust LC trim level with as few options as possible (to leave room for me to make some modifications). One dealer, charging MRSP, had me at #125. The second, asking $5,000 over MRSP (which they knew I wouldn't pay) had me at #40. At the time, I was told it would be 12 or even up to 24 months before they got down to me.

In early July, the MSRP dealer notified me that they had an uncommitted Heritage Blue due to arrive in Salt Lake City by mid-September. I was about 55% Trail Dust - 45% Heritage Blue, so was excited to put my name on the vehicle and started the long wait.

With an LC on the way, I put my 2021 4Runner TRD Pro up for sale. Needless to say, it sold quickly and at $2,000 more than I paid for it when new! So...here I was with no vehicle and my wife said she wouldn't haul me hither and yon for my desert therapy adventures hiking and mountain biking.

So, that same night I did a 500-mile radius search on Toyota's website and found a Trail Dust LC Trim, exactly what I was looking for in Las Vegas, actually an hour closer than my SLC dealer! The dealership was open until 10 pm, so I haggled with the sales person and eventually got the price down to what I would have paid in Salt Lake. I had my son-in-law drive me to Las Vegas early the next morning and picked it up!

So far, I'm loving it! I did get a "hybrid system failure" warning light but it disappeared overnight. Other than that, everything's perfect. It feels more "settled" than the 4Runner and was much more pleasant to drive on the highway. The interior feels comparatively refined and the interior noise was much quieter than my TRD Pro.

I feel lucky to have this all work out so quickly!

Finally picked up my FE on Thursday in Richmond, Va. Put Method 316 gloss titanium 18x9 +18 offset with 275/70/18’s on. Fits in the spare with stock wheel. So far I love this thing coming from a 2015 4Runner Trail premium. Thanks for posting! I Just ordered these wheels to pair with stock KO3s and am really pumped after seeming them as applied. Think the gloss titanium color will look rad on my black FE!

I'm a newb and just found this site. I live in Santa Fe, NM and had been looking online in ABQ and SF, SF dealer was being an *hole putting a $5k dealer upcharge on every LC that was coming in no matter the trim level like it was still 2022/2023. The last time I bought a new Pilot I spent almost 5 hours at a dealership in ATL and time is money so I engaged Tomi with Delivrd to find me a Land Cruiser (I don't have any business connection with Frank Hass Toyota nor Delivrd). He got me a $3,100 discount based on knowing the internet salesman Ryan, and it was the biggest discount he has gotten YTD. Attached the sale sheet, plus I had to pay $1k delivery from TX to SF which I would have had to pay regardless as I wasn't going to drive the LC 866 miles to SF. It was raining when the transporter arrived, dude was super nice and it was well worth $1k + $50 tip. I only have 62 miles on the LC, had to remove the roof rack cross bars to get it into my garage and it has barely enough room F/B to fit. Sold the 2017 AWD Pilot to the Honda dealership for a good price, all in all happy overall with everything. That Toyota dealership is the 3rd largest in the US, would highly recommend Ryan, and if you are tired of hunting/negotiating for any vehicle (high end on down) Tomi is worth way more than $1k and networks all over the country. Really enjoying driving the LC, think I will like it hauling my dogs to trials compared to the Pilot, and being up in the mountains in it.
