Current trade-in values and a bid farewell

Weird on your trade offer… maybe it’s that market. I checked with numerous dealerships here in Az (ford, Chevy, toyota, porsche, etc) all between $62-$65k TRADE in value for my LC

Before I get attacked…. Just checking on people’s thoughts on the new Ford Ranger Raptor? I just brought it up bc he bought a F150 raptor… I never owned a Ford. I had larger trucks in past, however don’t need them anymore… looking for smaller trucks/suv’s

Have you considered a Tacoma? It has the same proven and reliable drivetrain as the Land Cruiser.

I have been looking at everything… but I keep coming back to my LC🤷🏽‍♂️ if I ever did buy a Tacoma it would need to have the iforce max or older one with V6 and higher trim level, which would be pricey. My goal right now is to pay my LC off in 30 months or sooner and just keep it… deprecation calculators show it will still be valued at $48k in 5 years (maybe higher). I only have 12,900 miles on a 2024. My coworker bought a 2025 Tacoma TRD Pro and loves it, except the backseat area

Good choice, to stay with your LC. For starters, made in Japan, vs the Taco or Ranger.

I went and test drove one and I can't say that I really liked it. But I can see why people would. Re: the ranger raptor. Cool looking mid size but I just found the fit and finish lacking, which I guess isn't surprising as the interior is more or less a base model ranger with some candy.

I found the brakes felt... Inadequate or the pedal feel just didn't inspire much confidence.

Go test drive one and make your own opinion though.
