Fuel Tank options for Land Cruiser 250/ GX550

Im on the list too, I did reach out and they did say they are releasing them in The States, but no date.
I think their manufacturing is still 100% in Australia, I honestly have no idea if they make anything state side. I am willing to bet they will not be arriving for some time due to tariffs.
All of my other conversations with Australian brands have confirmed delays or full product pulls from The States due to the tariffs.

The fact that they use a GX460 photo, while talking about KDSS and Air Ride, makes me ignore it. Plus, I don't want to lose my spare.Anyone know anything about this Helivue tank :

Yep, I really don't want to lose my spare. However I can see the logic in making one compatible with both GX and LC. Nice to see at least one option appearing here in the states at least. Hopefully others will soon follow.
I'm a little doubtful that more than a handful of people would pay $2,100 plus installation for a 1 gallon tank vs. $100 for a 3 gallon Rotopax type canister.

18 gallons plus stock 17.9 with 2.5 gallons in reserve sounds like 36.5 gallons of gas to me, the way I read it.Anyone know anything about this Helivue tank :

Could be, Doubtful that large of a tank wound pass crash safety testing but maybe not a concern with hybrid drivetrains.
I concur that’s the way it works. Over 100% increase in driving range.
People do this all the time however I agree with your caution,. I would much rather have one between the frame rails like the way Toyota does it from the factory on sub. Tanks. That would be ideal either a factory or aftermarket sub tank where the current muffler sits opposite the main tank.
If you're going to drop the coin for the tank and the install, I'd be patient and stick with LRA, they have been doing this for a long time. They are going to offer a larger one that replaces the spare, as well.
Do you know when that will be available?
Do they only plan to offer the spare replacement version or will they offer the sub tank option like the factory?

Not just people, Toyota has a sub-tanks mounted there in the 200/100/80/70 series up until 2022. If you are scared of that, you should never drive/ride in a fully electric vehicle (today's offerings, at least).
