🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

Hi everyone. I bought OEM sill plates with lighting, but the problem is that I don't have a connector for them in the sills. It's a Toyota 250, 2025 model, diesel, top trim. If anyone has installed illuminated sills, please share your installation experience and how you connected the lighting, what the connector looks like. Thanks
Welcome to the asylum.

Miss Daisy finally got her new shoes. Five Bridgestone Dueler AT Ascents (3PMSF). The drive home was ~90 miles. I believe they ride better than the OEM Michelin ATX, and are at least as quiet, if not quieter. I don’t know yet if Miss Daisy’s fuel economy will take a hit. I hope not. View attachment 72891

What’s the load rating? I have E load but prefer standard load.

Today I mounted an awning that was on my Airstream Basecamp 20X and figured out the mounting for the passenger side using stock rails and crossbars. I am ready for Canyonlands in early October.
What size is that awning? I have an 8’ ARB but I’m worried it would have too much overhang. I have the OEM overland rack. I think I would need a full length rack to properly support the awning.

Did you use the CRC anti squeal red paste? This stuff wont end up dripping on discs when hot and ive used on everything with good results. They also have this conditioning spray which ive never used. Gets good reviews View attachment 73844
I did! I was surprised how dry the back of the OEM pads were.

I also used SIL-glyde silicone brake grease on the brake pins and where the pads rest on the top and bottom of the calipers. They were all just as dry.

Did my 30.000 km service and followed the 15k miles checklist which includes replacing the front diff fluid. This is my 4th oil service and first diff service. The fluid came out clean with minimal shavings on the magnet.

I have a maintenance schedule. I will not use the dealership after bad experiences. I'm taking mine in for service in two weeks, and not to the Toyota dealership. I put together a specific list of what I want the independent shop to do, including OEM parts and fluids, which they do for me. Here is an example of what I'm asking them to do for the 10K mile service. I have added items that I want them to do that are I addition to the Toyota recommended schedule. Some of this I can do myself but I'm in a cast for 14 weeks and it needs to be done. Hope the attachment works.
