Is this the one he lock that requires charging, has a valet mode and locks the safe when you shut off the car? I think I have read they sell such a system. How does this attach to the console? What PN did you order?
Started installing Kilmat sound deadening material to the driver's side door. Regretting that decision now that my door handle touch sensor will not unlock the door. After several hours of attempting to solve the issue I gave up for now. Waiting for a cool morning to rip it open one more time. I tend to use the key fob out of habit anyway as my previous trucks didn't have this feature.
Once I finally figure this out I'm not sure how motivated I'll be to do the other 3 doors.

Just picked up a 2027 underground premium. Added Lasfit cargo mat, Toyota engine and transfer case skid, and getting PPF put on with tint as we speak. Victory 4x4 full rack will go on as soon as the PPF is complete.
Had a LC100 for 20 years (was my dads first), sold it with 330,000 miles for a 2024 Tundra Hybrid few years ago. I was never confident in the Tundra due to the engine issues and after witnessing a friend’s V35a engine fail in person while we were on a trip, I sold the Tundra last week and back to a Land Cruiser. Missed it

After watching Tire Rack review of all terrains, i think I've settled on these tires, but I've never owned cooper tires. How are you liking them now that you've got some miles on them, presumably? I have ridge grapplers currently, and they're too loud with 25k miles. Otherwise a good tire.

You've had these tires for some time now, how are you liking them? They get great reviews on tirerack but i've no experience with cooper tires. I want something less agressive than ridge grapplers i have (want quieter).
After seeing Project Farm's ceramic coating review I decided to give Griot's 3 in 1 ceramic wax a try. One thing lead to another and I ended fully detailing the LC. You know the drill, pressure wash, foam, rinse, clay bar, rinse again, 3M panel prep and finally two coats of Griot's. It turned out great if I say so myself.
The truck has a hard life up north so I also had to rust treat several bolts. I also had a few paint chips to fix.
And I discovered a surprising amount of mud/dirt build-up behind the fender liners of the rear wheels. I cleaned the nastiness and treated it with fluid film.
And while I was cleaning I took some time to spruce up the interior too.
All in all I worked on it two days.

Miss Daisy finally got her new shoes. Five Bridgestone Dueler AT Ascents (3PMSF). The drive home was ~90 miles. I believe they ride better than the OEM Michelin ATX, and are at least as quiet, if not quieter. I don’t know yet if Miss Daisy’s fuel economy will take a hit. I hope not.
Yes. Costco will only sell tires that are OEM size, which is fine with me. I’ve upsized tires in the past, on a ‘91 Chevy G-20 conversion van, and paid the price for it at the gas pump. I wasn’t interested in stressing the steering and suspension mechanisms out on Miss Daisy.
Technically yesterday, but got the 18” wheels installed and some pics today.
