After seeing Project Farm's
ceramic coating review I decided to give Griot's 3 in 1 ceramic wax a try. One thing lead to another and I ended fully detailing the LC. You know the drill, pressure wash, foam, rinse, clay bar, rinse again, 3M panel prep and finally two coats of Griot's. It turned out great if I say so myself.
The truck has a hard life up north so I also had to rust treat several bolts. I also had a few paint chips to fix.
And I discovered a surprising amount of mud/dirt build-up behind the fender liners of the rear wheels. I cleaned the nastiness and treated it with fluid film.
And while I was cleaning I took some time to spruce up the interior too.
All in all I worked on it two days.
