Leaning to low cost small engineering impact upgraders....
Trust in general to Toyota engineer and history. So mods are on the small side.
=Screen on intake manifold for rodent protection.
=Combo air and battery charge unit,
=Decent jack base for oem unit..
What ever your specific need for conidiations that suite your need...

Response to #35 ... Victory 4x4, it's great for smaller / lighter stuff that always seems to be in the way .... I have towels, umbrella, extra gloves, climbing rope, dog leash , and more ... you get the idea

It's been a couple of years since we've had our LCs more or less and we have done a few things to our rides.

So my question is what is your favorite mod so far?
No lists ranking things, choose one, and no speculation on what would be nice.
Part of it is for you having used this mod and seeing what your experience is with it.

I have thought about this and have my list and still thinking of my favorite, tough call.

I'm going on a 3 hour drive to decide on mine and post it later.

Among my tonsssss of mods, my favorite “is” the combo of 2” lifted Kingsshocks / TC UCA / Dobinsons C59-819V spring AND 35” Wildpeak AT tires. With that Combo mod, my FE performs and looks as the real “land cruiser” in my own “world” . I want it getting close at least to my 2” lifted G.

I do! But there's probably not a lot!

Mine is my wheel/tire combo but had to add the Rigd ultimate tire carrier since this tire wheel combo won’t fit under neath. Definitely changes the look of the LC from stock setup.
Wheels are Black Rhino Bahari 17x9-+40mm offset on 285/70R17 Mazama Open Range AT PLUS tires.

Slee radiator protection has to be #1. Slammed a boulder today at speed thinking i was in our lifted wrangler, just a scratch on it. I'm sure i would have been repairing the radiator on the trail without it.

neoprene perfect fit cover to protect console lid; bought on Ebay

Finally, this weekend, got some OEM running boards taken off at time of new for $100 to replace the Predator step bars! Drove three hour round trip easy drive to pick up.

Indeed. They are the only thing 1958 about the 1958. I will eventually do Karzkin on mine as well, but it will be an embroidered/pleated design and in vinyl instead of actual leather. Every time I consider it though I am immediately charmed by how high of a quality these cloth seats are.
