🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

I installed these as well, these really do make the door shutting sound more stable and secure and less loud. My kids noticed right away. and made the comment. “ did you do something with the door?” lol … very easy install… just have to get the right one I was told. I could tell right away….. here is the link: LaIIker 4 Pcs Car Silicone Door... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F488YF4T?tag=landcruiserforum-20

Thanks Sherm.
After reading your post remembered I had already ordered same Lallker door lock covers for our ‘26 LC Premium, & went out last night & installed. Noticed change when pulling on door handle to open the handle action feels shaper & door release snaps open - better than stock Toyotas, more toward European premium feel. Closing door not as much of a change. Totally agree overall you feel & hear a difference.
Good mod for $16.

What have you done to your Land Cruiser 250 recently?
Today I mounted an awning that was on my Airstream Basecamp 20X and figured out the mounting for the passenger side using stock rails and crossbars. I am ready for Canyonlands in early October.

OB - That’s cool. Didn’t know the T-slots on the OE Premium bars would support that weight offset.

I grabbed a set off of eBay too. Worth the $10 price for sure.

Between these and some sound deadening of the doors it finally sounds how a $70k truck should sound.

Just fitted a second - or is that a third lithium battery - 220 Ah under the rear floor so that I can run my refrigerator and other gear for a few days or more. It is charged by the cars alternator or it has a feed from a solar blanket

Nice
Not to throw shade on a good project but it would be good to keep in mind this is a global platform where some of this cool upgrades won't work...
For example, this is a no go for the hybrid North American platform which is by far the majority of this forum's participants...
I guess my point is that it is helpful to be more descriptive about the applicability of the "upgrade" by describing your base platform in more detail.

Fixed the reverse brake squeal thanks to Gio's video. Had reached out to various Toyota Service departments regarding the TSB to try to get it repaired under warranty and they had no idea how to fix it or had their AI scheduler just put me in as a regular brake job... So I figured to just do it myself.

$20 in parts and the squeal is 100% gone. Basically just replacing the metal shim with these OEM spring wires that I bought off eBay. Also added some grease to the back of the pads and the caliper/pad contact points as they were bone dry. Highly recommend just DIY as it takes less than 10 minutes to do once you get the car up on jackstands.

Did you use the CRC anti squeal red paste? This stuff wont end up dripping on discs when hot and ive used on everything with good results. They also have this conditioning spray which ive never used. Gets good reviews

Ordered OEM illuminated door sills from Japan. I've been contemplating this for a while.
Hi everyone. I bought OEM sill plates with lighting, but the problem is that I don't have a connector for them in the sills. It's a Toyota 250, 2025 model, diesel, top trim. If anyone has installed illuminated sills, please share your installation experience and how you connected the lighting, what the connector looks like. Thanks
