🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

Added the Rigd ultra table to my tire carrier setup today. Can’t wait to try this setup out camping. Work is getting in the way of that. 😜 But also work pays for all this stuff.

Buffed pinstripes out with scratch X.
Clay bar the brake dust spots.
Ultimate liquid wax.
Ultimate black the trim.
I try to do that once a year. I won’t be back in the woods until September so it got some TLC.

Even though we agreed on no presents this year… my lovely wife (who always blows my gifts out of the water) got me the Aussie OEM bonnet protector!

She’s got a friend in Australia so they just ordered it to her home from Bill Robertson Toyota in Central Queensland. It comes just loose in the box 😂 My wife’s friend added some tape and crossed her fingers. Shipped UPS and made it from Australia to Oregon, USA, right quick — picked up Tuesday and we got it Thursday… insanely fast. Also: arrived intact!

Naturally, I’m a Shaky Jake and something has to go wrong so I dropped my last screw in the engine bay. Neoprene washer landed on my garage floor, screw landed on a flat spot in the engine bay, and the thin fiber washer disappeared… all the tricks of the trade failed. Local hardware store only had white fiber washers so… I painted one 🤷‍♂️ Very slight difference in thickness but it worked.

Looks great. Took longer than 30 minutes even without my finger foibles.

For comparison, for Mother’s Day I got my wife her super hard to find favorite car freshener scent… 🙄

EDIT: Australian part #PZQ15-60280 “bonnet protector”

On the way to trail head (5.5 hrs), stopped at rest area for family of 4 to “rest”… while waited for them, took the photo of rig ;)
Our gears/stuffs filled up the trunk, the mirror rear camera is super clear and helpful
Trip report thread is here:

Yea, but the build quality seems really good, or at least it does on my sliders. It also didn't hurt that they're close by so I could pick them up rather than pay for shipping.
yea i am lazy.... and dont really have a place to install. i am having stellar offroad do them

Stellar is great. They installed my lift and wired my ditch lights for me. My only complaint is that they're only open on the weekend.

Quick trip to the local cut short by a 2wd truck blocking the trail. Dude was there overnight. Yikes. This truck is prety fantastic off road, like much better than my old 460.
