🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

It was 99% of the decision making process. All of the things I chose to live without were deprioritized by my hatred for sunroofs.
Finally decided to take a chance at installing the Toyota OEM rock sliders that had been sitting in my garage. Uninstall the OEM steps was easy other than the wire you got to disconnect just took me too long to figure out as I wasn't doing it right.
Installing the steps... Toyota's instructions make it seem like it is going to be the easiest installation ever (I've attached them for reference in case anyone ever looking for them). I will say that if I maybe had a lift or could get my LC off the ground more this would have been a bit easier or a more 'fun' installation but doing it on the ground sucked. It does bolt up easy and the hanging bolts to hold and help you start is a fantastic design! My best advice if you do this make sure you get every bolt into its hold and a couple cranks of the wrench then follow the installation pattern - that alone saved me on the second side installation. Certain parts of the install my wrench could only make 1/4 turn so it took forever to tight up the bolt; I probably could/should in the future invest in more tools to make things like this easier.
Overall, I absolutely love the look of the rails and I know the functionality will be nice they are very similar to what I have installed on my Tacoma. Needless to say, I think my LC is fully ready to do battle in the Costco parking lots fighting its way through folks to the pump station. I am looking to give this a whirl in the coming months when I get out on the trails, this is pretty much the final mod I wanted to make my LC "my" LC.
Also installed a new cabin air filter and have an AFE Pro S Dry air filter on its ways to be installed also. I've had fantastic experiences with AFE's product. Unfortunately living in CA I don't get to enjoy all the other cool air intake mods unfortunately, but their dry filters are fantastic and easy to clean and use !

I have that same center console organizer. It's awesome with the multiple trays. Gives three layers of storage! It made a huge difference for organizing the cockpit.

Man, these look great. I am looking into this exact set-up after seeing yours.Had new wheels and tires installed on my '26 LC. Method R314 in Gloss Titanium, BF Goodrich KO3 265/70R17. The shop originally put the 285s on but there was significant rubbing so had to "downsize" to the 265

They also make one for the cool box. It’s just a basic small tray though. Not much help for storage with that cool box.

Could I also get this. I need to change something with the permanent weight of my rack and tent. Body roll is killing me and I have minimum three round abouts in the first 2 miles if I head north east or west from my house
