I cracked my windshield today
I had to keep with the tradition of my old 1997 4Runner where I added a snorkel with pre-filter that did get some use as far as dust filtering/air purpose to that vehicle before I sold it.
So of course when I saw the Land Cruiser having a snorkel available I was all over it. This installation took me record time to install compared to my 4Runner and just attached perfectly. I think it added 5HP so far, car feels faster. I have a second one that got to be installed potentially same side or other side for dual snorkel craziness!
Plus the back of the LC is covered in ladders (medium and widdle) which lots of people complement and get a good laugh at them and enjoy, the couple other folks at work with LCs, Tacoma or 4Runner get a kick out of them since a few of us have similar ones.

1 year of ownership and couldn't be happier!
Finally got around to installing all the parts from my Tacoma on the Landcruiser and starting to browse the forum.
Long Range America bumper already purchased.
Plan to install Bumper, Winch, ARB intensity Lights, Air compressor very soon.
Last piece I need is the Dissent Kit for Winch Wiring.
Surprised to have room for my Roam box in front of the tent.
Plan for new wheels and tires once the stocks start getting low on tread.
I really dig the look of the Tundra TRD wheels but found a 17" knock off version

How did they work? Cut out any wind noise?
I just did the same for my wife’s GX and my LC. I can’t tell a difference. In fact, I wish I could ask a Toyota engineer why the trim is designed the way it is and if that rubber piece is going to negatively effect the way water runs/drains
I have had it for 5-6 months and have seen no negative effects to drainage or the way water is repelled.
How about the wind noise? Any change?
Maybe minimal. Nothing life changing
Stupid in a no stupid zone. Accessed the battery to top off the tire pressures (cold snap) and broke the terminal cover. Naturally, the piece decided to run away and hide behind the trim somewhere. I had to take out the bottom tray and by pure luck found it beneath the battery.
Instead of just taking the doggone battery out, I decided to grab every long tool in my inventory to fish that bad boy back out.
Then I fat-fingered my first stem cap and managed to roll it under the vehicle
At least it was a dry day.Texted my work buddy and said I hope for an easy wrenching day tomorrow cuz I’m all thumbs this week

Yup, it’s a 1958, and I love it. It’s my favorite vehicle I have owned till date. Super comfortable, simple interior, no sunroof (I had them leak on me in the past). Love the retro headlights. It’s perfect for my needs and as my daily driver.
