I installed same engine and trans, yes has keyhole slots makes install and service a breeze - easy one man job.
If the keyhole slots are there, it should be an easy one man job to install.. even for this 69 year old fogey..
Much easier with two guys to slide you the skids while one is lying on the ground. If you have a lift and can get the truck up higher up in the air, sure, easy one man job. I''m 5 11 220. I can lift stuff with the best of them. Much easier with two people.

Where did you get the trim from, looks great.
I agree its easier with 2 people the length of it and being on the ground not have leverage makes it awk. I had to use my legs to boost the bottom half up to mount it to the keyhole and my arms to try to get it lined up with the front keyholes. Next time I plan to use the bottle jack...I believe that will be helpful.

Well, I use ramps from Auto Zone to drive Miss Daisy up on.. which makes it super easy, for me anyway.. with the keyholes present, and those two corresponding bolts partially screwed in, you just lift the skid plate up and let the two bolts come through the keyholes, then slide the skid plate over and the partially screwed in bolts hold the skid plate in place while you put the other bolts in place.
Just went in for my appointment to have them replaced and they tell me 1.5 hours later the pads haven’t come in from when they ordered them 10 days ago and will have to reschedule.. at least I got the recall for the rear backup camera software taken care of.
What brand puddle lights are these? Do they come with new LED's, or just covers? Looking for a brighter option than what OEM has.
Use a small rolling jack if you need a second hand.
Sorry for the confusion.. Laying on my back, on a creeper, with MIss Daisy up on ramps, I just reach over and lift it up, put the two keyholes where they belong, and slide it over ~1”. The two preinstalled bolts hold it while I thread the rest of the bolts into place, and then tighten all of them.
Added the sound deadener from a gas (only) Tacoma. I first saw it on eBay. It was cheap so I thought I’d see if it would fit. It fits and we already have the brackets with holes for the mounting screws. Based on a short drive, I’m not sure it does much though, and not worth dealer’s new price.

Installed boost tubes on the LC. Definitely increases throttle response off the bottom and also helps midrange performance. Already ordered another set for the PRO
I love Gale Banks stuff. Any idea how these would affect the warranty on our LC’s?
