Correct, it worked perfectly fine as tested by multiple owners of the Land Cruiser 300.So in the 300 series it did work though is what you're saying?
This is described in the owners manual, mts duplicated in the multimediaMTS info shows up on the dashboard screen, not multimedia.
Does this mean that only NO DAC CRAWL will work in my NO MTS?Correct, it worked perfectly fine as tested by multiple owners of the Land Cruiser 300.
If the car is equipped with DAC&CRAWL system then the MTS will work but it will not work if the car is not equipped with dac&crawl function as it was also tested by the LC300 owners group.
I believe if your car has DAC&CRAWL system than you'll be able to enable MTS by only adding its corresponding button.Does this mean that only NO DAC CRAWL will work in my NO MTS?

The dealer keeps avoiding my question in getting the part with the mts button. Part has been shipped back to them but they haven’t received it yet.
I’m reaching out to other dealers since this one is ghosting me when I ask the question about getting the part with the right button. Are you still working on ordering 84012-60B20 or you done going down this rabbit hole?
Ourisman Toyota of Richmond shows that they have it for $233 right now.I’m reaching out to other dealers since this one is ghosting me when I ask the question about getting the part with the right button.
This duplicates the function. if there is a large display, the combination meter animation is unnecessaryIt is not duplicated, what is displayed on the each screen is different.
ok. many thanks.I believe if your car has DAC&CRAWL system than you'll be able to enable MTS by only adding its corresponding button.
If your car doesn't have DAC&CRAWL system than MTS will not work even if you add the buttons for it.
It not about the animations, the selection menu is on the dash screen. Multimedia screen has no option to select a mode. This duplicates the function. if there is a large display, the combination meter animation is unnecessary
why not? the multimedia screen shows all mts modes enabled. It not about the animations, the selection menu is on the dash screen. Multimedia screen has no option to select a mode.
Because mod selection is on the dashboard screen, multimedia screen has no selection function, only the display changes based on what is selected on the dash. You can turn off the multimedia screen and MTS still works.why not? the multimedia screen shows all mts modes enabled.
Yes, that's partially true. But it lets you see the mts option without the dash screen. A replacement multimedia would have been the solution for 1958.Because mod selection is on the dashboard screen, multimedia screen has no selection function, only the display changes based on what is selected on the dash. But LX570 also has MTS selector on dash screen, as shown below. What I am unsure about is if the small screen on LC250 has the built in capability to display MTS selection.Yes, that's partially true. I look at my neighbor in the parking lot. He drives carefree with Missouri plates and his car is far superior to mine. he has no problem with mts![]()
I`m interested in this issue. I have looked at many regions on the internet where LC250 are sold. I haven't seen a single mts variant with a minimal screen on the dash like we haveBut LX570 also has MTS selector on dash screen, as shown below. We had two low-spec options in Slovenia called Active and Limited which had small displays and there was an option to add MTS for 350€. These options were removed from sale few months ago.I`m interested in this issue. I have looked at many regions on the internet where LC250 are sold.
