1958 vs LCLC off-road software (A-TRAC(?) vs MTS)

Three parts, only question is which is which. I highly doubt this will enable the MTS on a vehicle not equip'd with it though. The firmware on the Body ECU is likely different and possibly the body ECU is a different P/N? My guess is 60B20 as its the most expensive.

1. Drive Mode/MTS/DAC CRAWL
2. Drive Mode/ECT 2ND/DAC CRAWL
3. ECT 2ND (84012-60A90)
Robls ordered the 60B00 part number and it arrived with the ect 2nd, so the only one left is the 60B20 part which must be the mts one. It may not work but then again it might. I know it's not the same but, in fj cruisers not equipped with a trac, it turned out that they did have it and simply needed the button installed to utilize it.

Hope it works out if anyone gets it.

I'm not sure what Modules the commands run through as I haven't looked into it but just FYI there are at least two part numbers for the body ECU and from previous dash button research everything I've looked into thus far runs through the Body ECU (Minus turn signal stalk) and then turns into CXPI (Pulse Width Modulation) or CAN Hi and CAN Lo to send to the destination and ultimately perform the function of the button press. The dash display may be the another obstacle.

I think if it did work you may not even know its doing anything due to the different dash displays between 1958 and higher trims? I'm not sure the 1958 dash is capable to display it?

I'm really curious about this aspect. Does anyone know if there are other market 250s that have both MTS and the small dashboard display of the 1958?

I know a few variations of that part. the picture without mode select is identical to my car (84012-60A90).

This is the vehicle in the showroom of the dealership. I took a picture of its VIN. However, in the transcript part of the mts it says (84012-60B00). This is confusing

So you don’t have the options, but it almost is looks like you have the upgraded screen?
Exactly right. But I have a simple combination meter like the one from 1958. It's very similar to the Japanese version of the VX. Engine. Equipment. But the Japanese have an optional view 360 and an electronic rearview mirror. And the passenger side steering wheel

This is the symbol for 'AUTO' when using the MTS. I wonder if this symbol can change if the MTS button is installed????
I doubt it. Entire screen changes with animations etc when MTS is on, and shows what MTS mode the vehicle is in. I don’t think the info can be shown on a single symbol.

Presumably that symbol will change based on the MTS mode selected.

My poor off road capabilities are displayed on the multimedia. I'm sure if you hook up mts, the animation becomes complete. However, the 1958 does not have that multimedia. Perhaps changing the multimedia will solve this issue

MTS info shows up on the dashboard screen, not multimedia.
