Hey all - rookie LC250 owner here. Just picked up my 2024 in NJ Friday and been loving it so far. I'm coming from a BMW 328i, and strangely, this is my first SUV ever. My wife's had a few SUVs and I once owned a 2x4 Ranger, but nothing off road oriented. We all ski and my son and I do a lot of fishing, hiking, biking, and kayaking, and I was sick of packing the bimmer to the brim every time we went out (as much as I enjoyed driving that car). I've loved LCs since I was a little kid reading adventure books, and riding in them (and Hilux's and LRs) in the bush in Africa and elsewhere early in my career.
My first project was to install my old Yakima cross bars onto the roof rails. Next up I plan to make a few upgrades to the JBL speakers and hope to swap the 20" wheels for 18s at some point.
Anyhow, I look forward to getting this thing onto some fire roads here in Maryland, and to meeting new folks in this forum.
