When I had mine installed they did not use the hardware kit.
TRD performance exhaust installed.

You don't need the hardware kit, easy install too.
The hardware kit comes with the muffler.
Is the TRD the same as the factory optional "Performance Cat-Back exhaust" which is a $1395 option?
Good to know. Appreciate the info. I’m calling my dealer back tomorrow. Today he told me they haven’t had anyone order the parts yet. Which is surprising since it is one of the largest in the Atlanta area. Any dealers on this forum who can offer advice?

Check out Ed Martin Toyota, which I believe has a video and posted here on this.
I spoke with Ed Martin Toyota and the following Part numbers they gave me are:
PTR0360250, PTR0360243, and PT93234221-02 (tip). I have a 2025 base model. Do these partnumbers correspond to yours? Did you also install a tip? Appreciate the help.

When I ordered it was 240, 243. From Ed Martin parts department.
Did anyone take side profile shots of the tip before/after? Curious how much difference the clearance is.
Thanks - is there a noticeable drone noise at highway cruising speeds? Appreciate any feedback.

Once it makes that final shift I think what's left isn't noticeable. But I am moving generally and the mirror noise is pretty loud, IMO
Interesting that for the 2026 model, they now offer the TRD Cat Back Exhaust as an accessory, but speaking to a few dealers, including Ed Martin's part dept, nobody knows a part number for what is listed there when you build the 2026 LC on the toyota.com site - they just refer me back to the two part numbers listed above. I'd love to know if they made a new TRD Performance Exhaust accessory or if it really is still just the two part numbers listed above. (PTR0360250, PTR0360243)
I'd say it's highly unlikely there is a brand new exhaust part for MY2026. Toyota seems to be in a little bit of a bind, because they want to sell more parts, but have avoided marketing TRD branded parts for Land Cruisers directly, even though a few fit LC250s (this exhaust, BBS Tundra wheels, Fox/OME suspension parts from 4Runners, etc.)

My '25 TRD Pro 4Runner came with a similar TRD Performance Exhaust System standard. It definitely sounds different than our '25 4Runner TRD OFFRoad Premium I Max. I've placed a preorder with Magnaflow for their new performance exhaust system they're offering for the Pro and hopefully the LC. If you have a moment, message them and hopefully they will

You will probably need to check out the TRD parts sold for 6th gen 4Runners. Interestingly as reported on this forum, the air filter #PTR03-35240 does not fit.

I purchased a '26 that had this option. I believe it was a port installation. I didn't have a lot of choices on incoming LC's based on the color I wanted and no cool box option, so I decided to grab it. Have to say, it sounds like hot garbage. No comparison on fuel economy to stock exhaust, but this exhaust is not properly tuned for this vehicle. Heavy vibration sitting in idle, vibrates deep in the dash, moaning sounds in every gear before it changes gears. Terrible moaning at highway speeds. Brutal. I'm not opposed to nice sounding exhausts. My other car is a Porsche Macan GTS and it sounds beautiful, but this thing....
My question is to anyone that got a vehicle with this option, did you keep it, or install stock exhaust, or another aftermarket exhaust option? I'm definitely not keeping it.

Not this exhaust, but some of us have installed the AWE and it was reported and somewhat verified that it took about 1,000 miles for it to "break in." Maybe this exhaust that you have might need to go through the same process where it settles down a bit(?). Some folks find the AWE to be good after the break in and one person reported they are going back to stock. I have it and I'm on the fence but have only driven it about 100 miles. I can say that I don't have any of the symptoms that you are complaining about, but I do find the start/stop annoying and I have to find that sweet spot of RPM's to shift to avoid loud cabin noise. I'm planning to run it another 900 miles and then I'll decide if I want to put the OEM back on.
Thanks. I have about 500 on it so hoping it does settle in a bit. Good thought. Agreed on finding the sweet spot when driving to keep it from making too much noise. I also feel that some drives it's quieter than others, so maybe there is a break-in period. I watched some videos on the AWE exhaust, which seems like a promising alternative. This option on my purchase was pretty pricey ($1,395) as compared to other aftermarkets options so I'm trying to give it a chance.
