Ordering 2026 without cool box

I’m willing to accept the cool box but I’m starting to get frustrated waiting for a 2026 when the 2027’s are showing on Toyotas website. By the time I get the 2026 it will already be 1 model year old. I’ve beeping waiting over 3 months already

There’s another way to look at this… your mileage will consistently be lower than it could be for your MY. You get a 2027 now and you’ll have the opposite effect. It I were shopping around, I’d lean towards a 12k mile 2025 over a 12k mile 2026, as my assumption would be it was driven less as a ratio to elapsed time.

Not trying to sway you either way, just showing how the grass is just as green from where you stand.

I feel your pain. From start to finish it was about three months to get ours too last year.

I have a '26 with the premium package. No cool box (thank goodness). The cool box became an option on the '26's. I am able to get a stackable 3 section organizer into it and it's a perfect fit built for the LC no cool box center console. It gives me a lot of storage up front now compared to the smaller cool box. There are many folks that Like the cool box and I get that. But, I am happy that I don't have one.

Here you go. You’ll see two trays with more space under the bottom tray. I don’t even need all the space. Maps are in the doors.

I would prefer to not have the cool box. I do use it for drinks, but I would prefer to have the additional storage space.

That being said, the difference isn’t enough of an impact on me that I’d wait as long as you have in order to not have the cool box. It’s really not that big a deal. I wouldn’t keep waiting.

Well I can tell you I picked up my new premium last month. It has a build date of March 26. I thought that premium by default included the cool box. That was not the case. Mine does not have a cool box nor did I want one. I was pleasantly surprised.
