Possibly trading my wife's 2024 w/16k

And the trade in $$ will be???? That is the elephant in the room. Camry's are great cars but you go from climbing up and in to down and in. There is a reason the Crossovers are so popular. New RAV4 is size of an older Highlander now..........they are #1 for a reason. Sounds like the Land Cruiser was NEVER the right choice to begin with besides the eye candy factor.

You want eye candy, try a Stelvio, widely considered the best looking SUV on the market. Extremely comfortable, used they are a steal.....and don't listen to those without a clue. I have had 4 Alfas, all reliable, all special. The world is not all Toyota.

BTW, that weekly drive says EV all day long. Roundtrip and charge at home. Couldn't be easier. Equinox, Blazer and Optiq should be looked at in order of pricing. Also Ioniq 5, Honda Prologue, Toyota Bz......among others. Just opening your eyes to the future. At least try one.

Do the math....
Then decide the need?
Make decision.

So, here's the numbers...

LC Premium - Purchased new in August of 2024
Cost New - $70k
Trade-In Credit Received- $60k (18 months later with 18,000 miles on the odometer)

We had a little more than $33k Equity, so we applied that to the RAV4. Also, in TN, you only pay sales tax on the difference. Since the RAV4 cost less than the trade value, we paid $0 in tax. Just the dealer $799 ripoff (I mean doc) fee. We also were reimbursed $766 from a warranty cancellation on the LC Premium.

RAV4 XSE - Purchased new in April 2026
Cost New - $43,928
Financed - $11,000 + bumper-to-bumper warranty (100k, 7 year Toyota Warranty) & Pre-Paid Maintenance
4.75% for 36 months = $430.02 (we do bi-weekly which will be $198.47)

My wife couldn't believe the DTE said 643 miles... Her LC never showed over 325 on the DTE and it required Premium Fuel... We'll save about 60% on Fuel Cost in addition to the far lower payment.
