I know a lot of astronomers that visit the blue canyon site. If you like observatories, go visit the Community Observatory in Placerville (Hwy 50). It’s free and built just for the public (Rotary’s 100th birthday project). Research grade telescopes, outside sky theater, planet walk, etc. (was a longtime docent there and chief Docent almost a decade ago). They have solar scopes on 1st Saturday of the month too (check the calendar on their website for locations and open/closed status).(Sierras)Nyak Observatory site, 7.18.2026

Is that a hitch mounted swing out for your spare? Who makes it?Here is a couple from this weekend in Washington off Mountain Loop Road by a creek. Girlfriend and I slept in the back. Not the best sleep. But was ok. Great camp setup and Rigd ultimate table and cook stove holder.
Pretty cool. Your LC and you must have great time “together”Black Hills, SD
