PNWing at its finest. Lots and lots of fallen trees (some 5ft+ in diameter), but snow is not too deep and there are miles and miles of roads to discover.

78 here in AL. So much for our involvement in this thread. One day soon we're heading out west for an adventure in the northwest, where all the LCs go to play.

Scary Fun day in the snow! Sled into a ditch (was distracted by all the beauty around ) and got stuck at the very beginning of the trail, got a bit tooo enthusiastic with the throttle and got the transmission overheated , but was able to self-recover with traction boards and made another 10-15 (20?) miles deeper into the woods. Barely squeezed under that fallen tree (there was less than an inch of clearance) and past the tree there were no other vehicle tracks so I was "paving" the road myself. Didn't make it all the way to the end of the trail, chickened out at a sharp drop of the shelf road (I had some doubts that I would be able to make it back up ). Maybe will try it again next winter, hopefully by that time I'll have a winch )

Yeah this thread is my favorite/the worst.
I'm actually home sick today, but decided I had to get out this morning with the new snow, and sitting in my Land Cruiser is pretty much the same as sitting on the couch, right?

Coming to Missoula Montana….we started out in Tucson Arizona so major changes in weather for us.

A star link mini is your friend!! Sit on conference calls in your the Land Cruiser in the snow. It does VIOP really well and the internet connection for me has been flawless.

The dish also has a snow melt feature. I worked from the Land Cruiser for 8 hours yesterday.
