Photo Thread: Land Cruiser Off Road!

I thought it would be fun to have a thread where we post our trucks tackling the gnarly stuff. There’s a great thread already for general scenic shots, but those aren’t typically off-roading: Let’s see your LandCruisers in scenic locations

I’ll share first: here some shots of me tackling a some obstacles on an OHV trail I was distracted by on my way to a hiking trailhead. As always, clearance (especially approach and departure angle, but often break over angle) is my limiting factor.

I dragged the rear right bumper a bit on this one - a lift will really help the departure angle.

This rock obstacle was fun and not super challenging, but I did have to carefully choose my line so that I was contacting the rocks with my front tire instead of my front bumper!

My most technical drives I’ve been solo and didn’t get pics on anything crazy looking.

Looks fun. I usually don’t get photos of the hardest parts - I’m not thinking about photos in those situations!

Nothing challenging in these photos but I also don't take my own photos of the challenging aspects. Maybe it's time to buy a drone.

fromm our last trip out to Colorado. Got the roof rack put on before the trip. Need to upgrade the springs in the rear next, and suggestions?

Super cool looking trail. I had to check Onx off-road for the rating after seeing your photo, and shocked to find “easy”. Looks like you updated OnX about this very issue. Glad to hear the LC handled this well in stock form!

Oh, it was pretty wild. I checked the trail report before and had some idea that it was more aggressive than the rating.

Outside of skid plates, no lift and standard tires - it was an absolute beast! I don’t think I’d go down anything scarier and probably not do it again without some additional recovery gear. But it was truly impressive..
