Joined a few Toyota Brothers for a weekend of exploring in the Manistee National Forest near Mesick, Michigan.

We based camped along the Pine River Corridor. Folded down the rear seats of my Land Cruiser and used my XPED sleeping mattress with a sleeping bag.

Followed easy Seasonal roads, two-tracks and a few sand hill climbs.

2025 LC 1958 and the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent tires 265/70-18 performed well.

350 miles for the weekend with a mix of highway & backroads - averaged 23.1 mpg.

Looks like a very fun time! I need to get back up to the UP, but at this point probably won’t happen until springtime. I have a bit of land around Iron River and small cabin, it will be fun to take the Land Cruiser on a trip up there. I should check out some trails while I’m at it! Your pics are very nice, thanks for sharing them!

not trout, but the New River can be fantastic for smallmouth at the right time.

We had no luck at all, buddy of mine grew up there as a kid and moved away, I just followed him, most of the streams where dry very little water, we found one place but had no luck, did have great scenery traveling from spot to spot though.

Wife and I went to Glenwood Springs, CO for our 9th Anniversary this past weekend. While there we decided to take a trek up Transfer Trail. It did not disappoint!

Most scenic spot to date since owning for a month was in front of Discount Tire after getting the new wheels tires on it last week. Been on two road trips since owning it but never took any pictures so this is good as it gets from me for now..LOL. Check out that jack flex..
