Is the key pretty generic? It’s not one of those things where I’d ask you to post a pic of your key since you’re effectively sharing the profile to do what this is intended to prevent, but it looks like a simple generic barrel lock.Authorised dealer installed a Bear-Lock shifter on my LC.
I thought it looked like a tubular lock but assumed not, as they’re not challenging to pick with the right tool.Is the key pretty generic? Welcome to the asylum.Met up with fellow forum user LC58 and bought his GX wheels and tires. He also had some oem rock sliders hanging around that I also bought.

Does it looks like pretty generic? I don't know. Security or anti-theft measures work best when designed in layers, like an onion each layer adds protection, so compromising one doesn't give full access. The bear lock is one of four measure I installed. Is the key pretty generic? I believe the english website is uk based, but Bear-Lock is german made.Since the company is in UK & would design for RHD vehicles
I wasn’t questioning anything, I was just curious. That’s far from generic… but I believe you already knew that lolDoes it looks like pretty generic? I don't know. My preference is handheld TD-H8 (or TD-H3 for hiking) with a Nagoya antenna, but these look nifty, and a clean install. Looks great! How’s the range with that micro antenna?Midland sent out a MXT275 GMRS Radio and pretty much excited about the way it turned out on my Land Cruiser.

I’m curious.. do the GMRS radios of today replace citizen band radios of the 70’s? Or are they for going off road and used for emergency communications?Midland sent out a MXT275 GMRS Radio and pretty much excited about the way it turned out on my Land Cruiser.

I’ve almost ordered one of these a few times, I love the Prado name.Having owned a GX460 for almost 15 years and knowing its heritage, I always wanted a Prado here in the US. And while I finally got my wish, I also wanted the emblem from Australia. View attachment 66456
I think they look really good smooth top or with just side rails.took the FE roof rack off and replaced with the delete kit, had it about 18 months, never used it and really have just been annoyed by the wind noise ever since putting it on.
much quieter now and may even be getting +1 MPG... haha
also got a cool new chip in the windshield! #2 for me so far
Apparently you can submit a NHTSA complaint for thisalso got a cool new chip in the windshield! #2 for me so far
Where did you find that?!?!Having owned a GX460 for almost 15 years and knowing its heritage, I always wanted a Prado here in the US. And while I finally got my wish, I also wanted the emblem from Australia. View attachment 66456
Took a bit of thrash to get it done - and cost a lot to be frank, but I really wanted it so ultimately was worth it for me. May not be worth it for you, but here goes:Where did you find that?!?!
When I took Miss Daisy’s FE noise maker/air brake off, the roof was very ruff, like 500 grit wet/dry sandpaper. It cleaned up and polished well.. slick as a baby’s hinie.took the FE roof rack off and replaced with the delete kit, had it about 18 months, never used it and really have just been annoyed by the wind noise ever since putting it on.
