Finally got my Dissent sliders in and got them installed. The way they're designed actually made them pretty easy to install without any help. I really like how they look and how much more solid they feel compared to the OEM running boards when climbing in and out of the vehicle.
I got this 3D printed cubby for my sunglasses from Fuel & Fire. It fits perfectly and I'm kind of surprised the vehicle didn't come like this.
I also opened my dash back up and rearranged some of the switches. They're all keyed, but I took a pair of flush-cutters and snipped the ridges from the switches and was able to slide them in where I wanted. It doesn't prevent the switches from fitting snugly or snapping into place. The switch for my ditch lights is from CH4X4.

So I’m new to the mod world and just got my 2026 LC-LC. I ordered the OEM skid plates and rock sliders to install. What tools and or equipment will I need to do the install? Total newbie to the modification world but am really excited about the possibilities!
If you do not already own a decent (not expensive) metric socket set and a decent metric wrench set, you will need one or both. Harbor Freight "Icon" sets are very good tools, not overly expensive. They are good for people just starting on a life long collection. There are many, many other tools you might find useful but most of the true wrenchers started the same way........ one tool set at a time.
How was the install?
The directions on the link sliders could have been better, as they provide extra hardware with the kit that you do not use. The rear lower link contains hardware for the Taco, which they also fit. However, the directions don't tell you that you will not use all the hardware if installing on a LC. After you figure that out, it is not hard. The rear shocks were the easiest if you remove the tires. Any issues I had I simply called RCI and they were very helpful.
Pulled, sanded and applied rust-oleum bed liner to the Toyota TH skid plates. I've had good luck with this bed liner doing touch-up on my steel oem rock rails. Blends in nicely, a little more coarse, but the aim is to keep the rust from getting out off hand. Picked up a quart for touch-ups later on.

I painted my rear hubs today. I love my SCS wheels, except for one thing. They don't have center caps and the rear hubs are bare and were starting to rust. I got some gloss black caliper paint and pulled the rear wheels this morning to paint them.
Cleaning the rust and masking the hub with a trash bag.
Rear passenger side masked off with trash bags and ready for paint.
Painting complete.

I'm really happy with how it turned out. I ended up with 5 coats on each hub. I spent 10 minutes with a heat gun on low between coats and 45 minutes after the final coat before putting the wheel back on. In total I spent around 3-1/2 hours.
While I was between coats, I decided to pop open the dash and rewire my CH4X4 ditch light switch. Out of the box the switch is blindingly bright compared to the OEM switches. I added a 20 kohm resistor to the backlight wire and the brightness is now very close to the OEM switches. It's a little more of a blue white compared to OEM, but I can't do much about that. It's not quite as noticeable in person though.

Can’t put TPMS sensors on those wheels, so exchanged for these, should be getting them Monday, install Tuesday

Finally got around to Installing the King shocks and total chaos UCA 
I’m traveling back from Curaçao today. When I return and get settled I’ll send you the part#. It is a Toyota Tundra product 18”x7” +60 offset. There is another post in the forum someone has aftermarket version that has a 18”x8”+40 or +45 offset that I’ve been thinking about.

Got the new Icon Nuevo Wheels 17/8.5 and Toyo ATIII 34/10.5/17, no rubbing and from the gps speedo is only 1 MPH off up thru 60 MPH
