🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

My first ever modification to a vehicle and on my LC: designed and 3D printed a sunglasses holder for above the rear view. I’m tall so I had the mirror as far up as it can go so the Fuel and Fire one was a few mm too tall.

First iteration. Installed with just 3M wall strips since I plan on using this and making a few changes then will install with black VHB double sided.

I put 1/32” silicone liner on the inside so non-scratch and non-slip. Will fit at least two pairs of sunglasses. I also

added a pen holder to try it out.

Installed the ROAM 83L and did a temp drill-through of an old Pelican Storm I have beat to near decommissioning. WIll eventually unload one of my Pelican Protectors and fit it up there with the Pelican handle brackets I also have in my garage.

This is fantastic looking, would you be willing to share the model as I'd be interested in printing one for my LC also!

I managed to break more things that modify things, the bad luck I have always before any type of trip I take:
-Managed to almost break one of my support legs for my cargo platform system, that gets to get fixed once I'm back from my trip
-My dashcam (Blackvue) decided it wanted to day after just slightly a year of ownership. I cannot recommend the brand, over priced and I've had more problems with it since it was installed.
-Did install my Canvas back army green in the back cargo area. Absolutely love it, it replaced the carpet and plastic OEM mats I had back there. I also bought/installed a Canvas back in my '20 Taco for my dog and hands down been so much better. Highly recommend them!

Hope everyone's modifications and other fun goes better than my luck lately :).

The file type is not shareable on the forum. you can DM me and I can email it to you. I’m new to that too so I can’t promise that there aren’t issues with it.

And here is a link to the silicone sheet:
Item No. 5781T76

The pen holder is by TOPS Pen Pal with self adhesive on Amazon or staples

Fantastic I just sent you an IM - no rush whenever you have time. More than happy to lend a hand with any tweaks and/or if I make any updates will be happy to provide what I add/do I'm still new to 3D printing myself and been having a load of fun with it.

I managed to get my new dashcam installed along with a Dongar Pro+ which made things such a breeze with the wiring. Unfortunately my cursed ability to do anything I managed to snap a 10mm bolt in the driver side hold bar - so now I got to figure out how to extract that and fix it. Wish me luck, I am not great with anything car wise lol.

Installed the 12-inch head unit, Beatsonic amp, and tweeters on my 1958. Honestly, I think the tweeters were pointless as they are being overpowered by the JL dash speakers I installed a week back. My only issue is the mic on the unit kind of sucks until they find a harness to utilize the OEM ones. The last pic is a reference to the cables that are not being utilized with the new unit (illl need to get a subscription to the Toyota manual site to figure out what these are)…. The Beatsonic preamp is pretty solid. I do notice better audio quality after the install.

Sorry to bump an old post, but I was wondering how that screen is still working out now that it's been a few months? Any compatibility issues with Toyota's OTA updates?

I'm on the fence between buying a 1958 and a LC Base, and if I go with the 1958 this might be one of the upgrades I make.

Bought a front/rear FitcamX. Haven't installed it yet, but it's here, on the workbench!
If you don’t mind to message me after a week or so how you liked it’s performance.About to purchase one too.Ive seen a couple of YouTube videos on how to install but no follow up review videos of its performance .Thanks !!

replaced the stock Yokohama's with BFG 34x10.5xr17, Tacoma steelies. rock rails and air compressor the last of the garage parts that need installed.
got 18,000 miles out of the Yokohama's and probably could have squeezed out a few thousand more
