🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

I installed the Victory 4x4 Exterior back side window panel with modification for the LC 250 FE roof rack as described by Tim. A quick visit to my local machine shop allowed me to bend to fit the LC roof rack angle. I modified the Rotapax gas container to allow for quick venting and proper flow during refueling.

The Rotapax container has a fuel arrester that need to be popped out to allow for placement of the Ai13 Billet Aluminum Vent using their nifty installation kit. The fuel arrester pops securely back into its original position. I used Tim's suggestion of 2 Wood's suction devices between the molle panel and window which seems to give enough support to add a 2nd 2 gallon Rotopax container. Tim has tested this on the road.

The vent cap is beautifully made and double threaded so it will not fall off.

The molle panels have a tire repair kit, jump pack, basic tools, a Silky folding saw, a first aid kit, a hand axe, GMRS radios, and an Element E50 fire extinguisher.

Looking at buying the Ark splash guards- I’ve got Toyo 35x12.5R17 on wheels at +35 and it seems to be throwing rocks a bit.

I want to be cognizant of vehicles behind me as well as my own paint and these seem attractive but don’t know if they’ll help with rocks being thrown.

I've been very happy with the splash guards so far. I've definitely noticed less mud getting through into the engine bay, but it's also been a lot less muddy out since installing them, so take that as you will. They certainly look like they would keep more mud out. Here's a picture of the front wheel well with OEM and with Ark.

Unless you were asking about the mudguards instead, since the message you quoted mentioned those and not the splash guards. If so, I can provide some feedback on those as well.

I finally got rid of that ridiculous gigantic hitch cover and put the "half cover" on it. Picked up a little mountain peak hitch plug. I hated that big plastic piece hanging off the back.

I installed or more accurately inserted the “SMABEE” center console cool box organizer. Super impressed with the OEM like fit, quality, and color match. As we all search for storage options…..on Amazon for $13.99 this was a bargain. For those with the cool box it adds much need organization for what was 7” deep pit with the insert you effectively get 5” and 2”. Works great for me!

That requires a Motohorn… which I haven’t done yet, but it’s on my todo list.
