I have an AWE exhaust on my Mustang. It is LOUD, but I love it. I had a Borla on my 4Runner, but I'll be keeping the LC exhaust stock. In keeping with the theme of the thread, I got my Weathertech liners today. I was going to go with 3W since they are a lot cheaper, but they were out of stock on black friday. I gotta say, the Weathertechs seem a bit nicer than the last set I bought. Fit is great, and the material feels a little softer.
Looks fantastic. I’d love to hear your thoughts on them after you out them through the paces offroad!
I had a lengthy chat with one of the forum members who's running these. They talked up Mike at Exit Offroad, so I sent Mike a message and received a call the following morning. We had a very constructive conversation where I conveyed my likes and dislikes regarding the LC. I told him how I preferred the feel and handling of my previous Rover and Gelandewagen vehicles, both on and off road. Ive grown to enjoy my previous and current 4Runners plus the LC, but wish they felt more planted with a suspension that didn't transmit every little undulation on the road through the vehicle. The Toyotas ride good but they don't have the Euro feel. I'm happy to report that Mike killed it. I reside in a rural area with narrow roads and lanes and we received a bit of snow last evening which made the roads a mess. I drove about through several counties this afternoon with a big smile on my face. Body roll diminished along with the suspension chatter over the patched spots of the tarmac and occasional wheel off the pavement. Steering feels more direct / weighted and confident. Not sure if this makes sense, but I have no regrets, absolutely none. Thanks @LCOceans for your input
Can you share the parts list you went with? How much did you lift front/rear?

I am really glad to hear that you are happy with the result and set up. I was a little nervous because I think suspension can be a very individual thing and not everyone appreciates the same type of ride. Your description above is similar to my thoughts on the feeling - more planted and controlled.

Costco had their Jackery 1000 on sale ($300 off!) so we snatched it up. Used it to run my $50 Goodwill Ventrifigo refrigerator find for a few days in my garage as a test.
Before work today, I loaded both up with frozen goodies in the back of the LC for a test run. Damn they take up a lot of space.

Added the "OEM-style" mudflaps. The rear was super easy. I recommend attaching the clips before the bolts, though. I didn't do the best job trimming the front mudflaps, but it's not noticeable.
Those are nice.
