Love the oem half rack..personally think it’s the best looking one available. I ended up getting the extra rail bc it would bother me seeing the empty slot from my window

My phone mount w/ magsafe came in. It works great.
I'll remove that sketchy sticker on the screen one of these days.

Added some red traction boards on the OEM roof rails today. Was a bit of a pain finding the right combo of parts to mount with, but ended up with a universal kit that I had to modify just a bit to work.

I used this mount - got some extra washers to go inside rail track and big rubber washers to go on outside of track between rail and t-bolt.

I think it could be done with 5” , 1/2” threaded rods, thin square nuts and small washer under track, rubber washers on top of track and under traction boards, then but some plastic knob type nuts that will screw down on rod on top of boards. Probably $20ish.

Machined polish finish wheels look so good on the blue - nails the retrofuturism off-roader aesthetic the J250 has. Your upgrade path is very similar to how mine went.

I fixed two problems. The way I drive on highway, the LC was not picking up that my hand was lightly on the wheel, so I constantly got a warning that lane assist wasn’t available etc.
I put this little weight on the steering wheel and it completely cured it, even with no hands (just for trial).

Secondly, I have terrible back pain from falling from a treestand 30 years ago. I think our seats are comfortable, but with any real time driving, my lower back feels like there is a knife in my spine. Our seats lumbar support is a few inches higher than where I need it. I took a chance on this cheap lumbar pillow, and it has helped immensely. Not that it is good looking, but the color is an excellent match for the Java interior. Both products Amazon.

New LC 1958 owner here! Recently added a Sherpa roof rack and Diode Dynamics light bar. We went out camping this weekend to try it out with an ARB awning and Ironman 4x4 awning room.

All performed wonderfully, my dog even liked the new rig too!
