🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

I just picked up my new 2026 Friday night. So far, I've added Husky X-act floor liners, Screen ProTech film to the instrument cluster and infotainment screens, and Redline Tuning gas hood struts. I've also got an appointment on Thursday to swap out the wheels and tires with 17" SCS GEN5s in gloss gunmetal and Open Country A/T IIIs in 34X10.5. The premium horn replacement and a switch for the tailgate lights are also on order but haven't arrived yet.

Any updated photos with your new wheels and tires?

I swapped out my OE 20's for 18 in TRD's with Bridgestone Ascents ... my son runs these on his Sequoia and gives them high marks ... so far a nice ride improvement, a little more noise (not too bad) and a little better mpg ... although it is a small sample so far ... a little highway and dirt road mix.

using the paygrade as a title for anything above a 6 lol
We felt the same in the First Class mess. Unless it was some Yeomen droning about payscales or something I’d have been a little miffed to be called an “E-6.”

We did have one E-7 that was never called a Chief by anyone for good reason…declined induction, which prior to that I didn’t know was an option.

Looks fantastic. Those are the rims I want to add eventually. I really like those. What size are they? I’m running stock rims and hakkapalilitas this winter.

The rims are PTR56-35242-F1 (Tacoma TRD) ... the Tires are 265/70 R18 (went with the stock size) slightly wider than the OE Geolandars I had ... so far not much splash ... many have gone with 275/65 R18 and are very happy wit them. I wanted 18 in rims and after looking at take offs and adding sensors decided to go a little more for the TRD's ... I'm very happy with the setup.

I’d be crossing a line if I publicly discussed it too much, but that is one of just a handful of reasons why someone would be just an E7. I personally knew of just two before going CWO.

I actually meant to put some new pictures up and completely forgot. Here's a couple new shots.

In addition to the new wheels and tires, I had tint installed about a week ago.

How are you liking the tires? How’s the ride quality and fuel economy hit? I’m debating these or 255/80/17

Finally had the opportunity to ride a trail in the NC Mountains! Nothing crazy but the truck ate it up!

Next up is to find some good ditch lights to throw on.

Trying out these storage bins. I think they look ok and should be functional. They are made of ABS and just go on with 3M tape, so will see how they stay on. The fit is good, and they will hold a decent amount and are not in my way. If you are really tall, your knee might hit the one on driver’s side. I am 6’1”, and the way I sit/drive, they are not an issue. Between these and the little “wallet cubby” above the charger plugs, I have more than enough small storage for miscellaneous stuff I have with me. If I don’t use it daily, it goes in console.
Can you share a link to the storage bins? thanks

I also ordered the OEM Land Cruiser wider flares to replace my Amazon faux carbon fiber set. They are starting to warp and peel in spots
I found a dealer who sold me all six factory parts for $652 shipped
Just waiting for them to arrive to install

What are the OEM wider flares? Are you talking about going from 1958 to LCLC flares?
