Anyone purchasing below MSRP?

Adding one more thing. They made the offer on my trade based off pics I sent them. Then when I went in Saturday morning, they inspected and confirmed the dollar amount offered. I don’t know if they saw it or not, but they have to replace the windshield due to a rock chip with about a 4 inch crack.

Another win for me on my trade.

Paid $56,000 + TTL back in June of 2025 for my brand new 1958 edition.

Got this Carvana offer today, so tempting:

That seems like Carvana is not good at business, There site is selling the 1958 models for less than they are offering

I bought my 2026 LC Heritage blue/grayscape, with roof rack, ppf on front, side moldings, 20" wheels, etc. $67k + Tax & licensing in Northern CA. $5800 off MSRP

I checked the dealership page for my trade and they’re selling it for less than they gave me.

It is such a shell game with all dealers. The numbers shown, received, sold, etc. are all just figures.

At the end of the month / year, they sit down and see if they made any money and can cover their overhead.

And whatever they lose in profit, they make up in volume....

There are zero to one LCs on dealer lots in the Houston area. Supply/demand in play.
They have them listed on their websites. They’ll either be in the build phase or in transit.

If there’s something specific (like in my case) you’re looking for and it’s allocated to a different dealer, your dealer can do a trade with them if it’s not already sold.

Mine was on the train and they told me approximately 2 weeks. They were able to trade while it was in route and it was switched from the original dealer to mine at the Houston VPC. It took 3 days for them to call me and tell me it was ready for pickup.

Right! This is when I stopped looking at invoice/MSRP figures and just went straight to surveying what the market is. I realized those figures were largely meaningless - if there was demand, there wouldn't be discounts and if the demand wasn't there, they'd cut below invoice.

That's right listed on web sites but not on lot.. All sold until demand dries up
Not necessarily sold, just in transit or the build phase. Yes, demand is high & they do sell fast once on the lot but they aren’t all sold in advance.

Bought this week at ~$6400 off.
Which model and color?

I am seeing 2025 / 2026 Premiums selling on Toyota lots with low miles for $68-$69,500
