Wow thanks I didn't realize it was turbo charged!It's a turbocharged vehicle. The air is cooled prior to entering the engine. Hot air vs cold air would really only be for a NA vehicle. A "cold air" intake truly doesn't exist.

Now go inform all the OEMs including Porsche and Ferrari their engineers are idiots for using plastic intake boxes with a filter inside because they can't handle real boost or HP!?Always stay away from plastic intakes and/or intake systems that enclose a filter within a box. Especially a plastic box. These will often LOSE power. You want silicone and/or carbon fiber intake tubes at least. Otherwise you're just dressing up the engine bay with something that you think looks nice.
