Jeep wave

100% agree with this complaint - to add to that, I notice that if the LC has some mods, they'll sometimes wave back.

The stock drivers are pretentious - even pull up next to one at a light and theyll stare, but still no friendly "hello". My daughter says they're jealous of my mods - but she thinks its absolutely hilarious no one ever waves back ๐Ÿคฃ
A little off-topic, but you are our resident tire tester for the forums here๐Ÿ˜‚. If I recall you have been through several sizes of tires.
Where have you landed on size?
I am adding lift/tires in couple of weeks and go back and forth between 285/75/18 and 285/70.

The lucky wife and I were walking into a dining establishment that had the misfortune of the presence of an extreme poke-having Jeep w/ a dashboard lined w/ little rubber duckies. I told her the story as we walked in. After the waiter took drink orders she held her menu down and said "Are you saying...that's a cool thing?" with a look of disappointment on her face.
I said I was kind outside because the duck collector could be in our midst, missy. No way!

New York LCLC here. My wife and kids get super excited to see another LC on the road, so they love to waive and smile. It really makes their day to get a waive back.

People waive because they are proud of the LC and proud to be part of this community. Just give a little waive back everyone.

You're going to be infamous when this gains traction and all of us LC drivers appropriate the "bird" into our own version of a wave. Some lady unaffiliated with the community is going to take an LC for a test drive in a heavily populated area, only to get flipped off a dozen times on her 5 mile journey. That poor saleperson is going to lose a cutomer real quick, and it's all because of you! ๐Ÿ–•hahaha
Youre getting me in trouble, wife trying to sleep and im cracking up and snorting trying to hold it in! ๐Ÿ˜†

Saw a dude the other day driving a 250 and he gave me the wave. I had to reciprocate. Doesn't mean I liked it.

Iโ€™m down for this ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Not happening here in FL. This state is ruined. No one has any patience or cares about anyone else but themselves. It's dangerous just driving to and from work on the daily. Ridiculous.

Iโ€™m down for this ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
It almost happened yesterday! The only other LC I see consistently here in lower VA (A black LCLC w/ a dented rear bumper) started passing a 4R in the right lane of a 2-lane highway, then matched the 4R's speed for at least 2 miles. I was running late for an appointment and had to just sit back and wait for one of them to speed up.

He apparently took offense that I left him in the dust, only for him to blast my doors off whipping around me at highway speeds on a normal street near my destination some 15 miles later. I've decided he doesn't get any of my friendly waves, just the secret, longer finger version.

Let's all start putting little rubber ducks on our dash boards to mock them.

I cannot be held responsible. I have a wife of my own and three girls under 12... my accountability doesn't extend beyond the walls of my own crazy household haha.

My mockery is a little more subtle. I put a heritage LC sticker with the vertical grill vents and circle lights on my right-rear window, and a white sasquatch silhouette on the back window to match my wife's. Long story short, I started calling her Sequoia "the Sasquatch," and she did not like it. So I ordered a dozen subtle bigfoot stickers in matte black and white and had my daughters hide them all over her car (On the skid plate, on the door pillars only visible when opening a door, up on the rear glass in the shadow of the spoiler...).

It's my wave to the TJs, JKs and JLs, and my poke at the broncos around here. I've ordered a matching white Belgian Malinois silhouette sticker. When it arrives I plan to remove the sasquatch and put a beheaded one up there with the squatch's head in my Maligator's mouth.

Iโ€™m not waving at people just because they drive the same vehicle as me (whatโ€™s next - collecting plastic animals on the dash?), but I will lift a finger if they wave at me.
Once my GF found out about the โ€˜Jeep-rubber duckyโ€™ thing, she started a collection of small stuffed toys on Miss Daisyโ€™s dash. ๐Ÿ™„ I put my foot down. Told her no more.. so now she puts them on her Kia dash.

When I was active in the dual sport motorcycle community (ADVrider.com), there was the official โ€œAdventure Saluteโ€, where upon crossing paths with another dual sport rider, one would give the middle finger to the other rider.. It was the highest form of a compliment, that dual sport riders could give one another, when passing on a road.

Iโ€™ve always thought Sasquatch carvings, pictures, etc were cute.. right up until a local art gallery put this one up. Itโ€™s over 7 feet tall. I guess to draw customers in. Every time I see it, I cringe. Who would make one of these, with a very prominent flesh colored โ€˜camel toeโ€™ just above his โ€˜packageโ€™. And why would they display it, in public? Am I missing something here?

Edit: picture didnโ€™t post the first time..

Oooh...okay, now that would be unfortunate and very disheartening indeed. Maybe check for a window sticker first.

a built-up 80-series waved to me rather emphatically a few weeks ago. i shed a tear... for all of us.
