I'm an LCLC and I just do a sideways stare awkwardly through my sunglasses and hope they don't wave at me.
I’m a friendly waver and always wave at matching cars in identical colors. This started when I had a habanero orange Prius C, and i've continued with the Blue Flame Rav4. I must admit, RAV4 owners wave back far less often than Habanero Orange Prius drivers did.
Initially last year when the new Cruisers were rare, i'd wave at everyone, even the occasional GX. But now, at least where I live, they are a dime a dozen, so I'm back to exclusively waving at heritage blue cruisers. (Blue roofers still get a wave but with a hint of disapproval)
When I was in Canada recently (interior BC & Rockies), I was getting excited waves from almost every LC250 i came across. There weren't many, so I suppose they are still sorta rare up there. I was more than happy to return the wave!

i live in Calgary and can confirm 90% i see wave.

That tracks with my observation. Only FE and 58 have waved at me. Those square light drivers are… well… squares? Hahaha
Out of dozens of 250s I’ve encountered, only one waved.

Yessir, at least your (our) part of VA is.I''ve had several LC250 encounters and usually a waive. We are friendly here in the south. VA is in the south still right?
Rectangle light driver here...would have waved.
And to add a data point, I've seen several posts on the reddit LC page where folks are complaining that 250 drivers are stuck-up and never wave...

VA here, might have been me waving at you! Honestly, I rarely see another 250 where I live, but I do wave when I see one or even other LCs.

100% agree with this complaint - to add to that, I notice that if the LC has some mods, they'll sometimes wave back.
The stock drivers are pretentious - even pull up next to one at a light and theyll stare, but still no friendly "hello". My daughter says they're jealous of my mods - but she thinks its absolutely hilarious no one ever waves back
Totally get the modified factor. Hell, when I had my modified Tacoma I'd wave at other Tacomas that were modified as well. My LC is stock for now, but that is simply because I am too cheap to throw away or attempt to sell perfectly good tires. I’m not waving at people just because they drive the same vehicle as me (what’s next - collecting plastic animals on the dash?), but I will lift a finger if they wave at me.
Hard no on trinkets like the Heep “thing”. I usually give thumbs up or just blow kisses when people lift a finger in my direction.

You're going to be infamous when this gains traction and all of us LC drivers appropriate the "bird" into our own version of a wave. Some lady unaffiliated with the community is going to take an LC for a test drive in a heavily populated area, only to get flipped off a dozen times on her 5 mile journey. That poor saleperson is going to lose a cutomer real quick, and it's all because of you!Wait, I didn’t mean THAT finger!
