High Offset Wheels (>=than 40mm)

Do you have options for the GX550?
If you like this design, we can definitely create a custom version for the GX550. However, the lead time will be a bit longer, around one month.

There is still work to be done with things like rock sliders and fender flares. I compromised on the tires for highway and trails. Some Toyo AT3s may look way better with these wheels.
Which lug nuts did you get for these?

Not the OEMs that came with the original wheels. These are different size.

Couple of screen shots listing the sizes for nuts and locks.
The Jaos wheel vendor usually offer the correct size nuts as optional.

Thanks. I had mine out in yesterday with my winter tires. They used some lugs they had there, but I’m not a fan of the style. I’ll have to grab some like you show in the photos. Thanks.

I bough Icon Recon SLX 17 x8.5 which are +25 mm offset and 5.75 backspacing and I ordered 285/75R17 Toyo Open Country tires which seem to taper a little more. Does anyone know what I will need to do to make this fit on stock? I know the offest is a titch more than the +35 that we know fits. Trying to anticipate where it could rub and remove or bend...

Looking at the Braid Fullrace T Dakar in 17x8. They offer any offset from -5 to +60.
Nice looking wheel, kind of reminds me of an OEM + version of the LC LC 18's. Plenty of pics on other generation Land Cruisers, but couldnt find any photos on a 250 series.
I'm wanting a conservative fitment for my LC. Thinking 17x8 +40 with a 285/70/17. Any thoughts on this setup for stock suspension?

With this size tire I am able to run my preferred tire, BFG KO3, in C1 load range.

I really like that wheel! Never seen it before. It's subtle enough to pass as OEM with a mild offset but also has a bit of rally energy.

Braid seems to be more popular outside the US, and are widely used in rally motorsport around the world.
They are also available in their Beadlock version.

Braid has fantastic pedigree in the offroad racing world!
