Yep, taking them back and sending them back to Toyo for “ride complaints”. The 295’s are cheaper (don’t ask me), so they actually owe me like $100.Man that's fast. Are they taking back the tires you have on now, or just buying the larger at discounted price? I asked my group if I can swap - they said no, once mounted I own them.
How does the truck feel now with the 33.8"? Do you notice anything different from stock?
Also, looks like you have a lift? What do you have?
Yes my wife thinks I've gone crazy...once this is all done I can focus on other things
I had 275/70’s Generals on the stock wheels originally, as compared to those there’s a very minor difference in the initial acceleration, but it’s minute in my opinion. Also, I bought this knowing it wasn’t a hot rod, and will do minor trails at best.
Check out my build thread, but it’s Dobinsons. I’m new to Toyota, but so far I’m happy with it. Rides good.

Looks fantastic! I think that’s my favorite color honestly. I’ll try to get a similar distance/angle shot with my current lift and 285/70 combo, then again with the 295’s
Finally installed the Fitcamx front and rear dashcam that I ordered a couple months ago. Install is pretty easy except for reassembly of the two pieces around the mirror mount, like others here and every install video complain about. No magic to share I’m afraid just time and lots of swearing.
The wiring is easy and running to the back is fine, just pushes under the headliner and door seals. Mounting is a choice. I went with the headliner for two reasons. First to keep it looking through a swept area of the back window and second to avoid the complications of going across the divide to the tailgate. Downsides are that it protrudes a bit into the top of the cargo area so I’ll have to be aware loading large items, and my solution involved making a small slit in the headliner.
I originally bought the disk shaped mount on the page below from the dash cam store, but now I see there special folded ones for the LC that would avoid the small headliner incision. I’m happy with how it came out though and I think the folded ones might hang lower.

What is the offset/specs of these wheels?
They are Method 707 matte black with 18mm offset.

Weather tech doorsill protectors ( installed the husky all-weather mats the same day I took delivery)
OEM Cargo net:
Amazon “smabee” brand console tray & cupholder protective insert. Super impressed with the quality of both. Feel and look factory.
eBay “heritage” license plate frame
35% tint all-around + 50% windshield.
next on the list…tires.

Easy to pull and clean, suspect he would rather scratch that with metal bottles and cups than the vehicle’s actual interior. I’d be interested to know if it keeps tall redbulls from falling forward… just my initial thoughts
^^ Exactly that. For $13 bucks, it’s much easier to pull the insert for cleaning than dig in there to clean up dried soda/coffee residue and debris. Plus, it’s “soft-touch” —now when I drop my keys in there, they don’t jingle

Installed Viofo Dash Cam. A329S -3 ch with newHK6 hardwire kit. Rear bracket for rear cam from the dash cam store. Very easy install. Looks like Toyota is not going to send us a Die Cast for the first year of new model. I got a die cast when I bought FJ Cruiser free and certified number with it. There on e-bay for over 400.00. So bought 1/64 scale.
