Great minds think alike! I removed mine yesterday after contemplating forever.

I was pushed over the edge to do it when a rat got in the fender and started making a nest and stuffing leaves and acorns inside the rubber air dams. Time to take them off!

Yes, Mine were full of gravel as well. No rats or chipmunks. I had that chipmunk acorn stash from hell last year when they filled my headliner with acorns. Got a mesh fix for the critters so far so good.

A small win for some but huge for me. The little warning message on the centre console next to the phone charger turned out to be a decal and not a print.
So I took it off. Much cleaner look, I despise warning labels on my stuff. Sadly the ones on the visors are a print I think but I can't help checking with my nails every other day.

It was like .723 hp, but it definitely increased aerodynamics and possibly mpg… I’ll provide a long-term review after 1000 miles installed. Stand by!

I took mine off yesterday and totally agree on looking much better! Took less than 5 minutes to do both.

I pulled the trigger too. It’s been windy down here in the OBX, so I don’t have a good reference for comparison but I noticed a jump in noise and wind resistance today. Do you feel it too? Hoping it’s just the wind.

I haven't noticed anything that jumps out. But I'll pay more attention to the wind noise. I removed all of the air dams not just the outside in front of the tire section. I'm monitoring the MPGs to see if there is a hit. I'll be able to tell more when I do some high speed highway travel to see if I can hear a difference in wind noise.

I removed mine a few weeks ago and haven't noticed any difference in wind noise. It still has the same pretty quiet up till 50-60mph then wind noise kicks in on the highway. I didn't take any measurements, so anecdotally it sounds the same as it did before.

Thanks! It’s probably just the wind that is preceding this weather system causing a reverse placebo effect.
