🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

because I do not like how my 18" AT4W SL drive on pavement... With stock 20" my LC drives almost as Acura SUVs :)
Acura SUVs are all built for the pavement, so you’re right to go with thin tires to get that ride dynamic (definitely not A/Ts…and a Land Cruiser isn’t exactly a great starting point anyway…).

I am talking more about ride comfort. Commuting on AT tires did not work for me. 2 sets of tires is the way to go.

So I did a thing this week, well, actually my good friends at Wired by Greg did a thing for me. I am happy with how it turned out. 8 X Baja Designs rock lights (amber)....ready to light the campsite, and God forbid, any on-trail repairs at night.

For my SoCal peeps, or anyone else who is willing to make a road trip, Greg and his team are easily among the best in the business—serious pros with a substantial portfolio of both government and private sector work.

A better option might be "push nuts" which are a spring type washer that Pushes on a bolt/stud and holds really well. a pair of hook nosed/needle nosed pliers can be used to install or a simple "U" tool could be fab'ed as you just need to hold the badge from the front and press the nut on from the rear.

Now that is a solution I would use if I had to do it again!

Yeah I don’t hate the greyscape (may even help reflect a bit of heat!) but I love the black roof.

Just waiting at a dealership to get the first oil change at 1800 miles. On the road so not where I bought it but outside Atlanta instead. Could not believe how hard it was to convince the service dude to actually do it. They definitely think I’m crazy 🤷‍♂️. Not the first time that’s happened but not usually when I’m trying to give people money.

Installed AFe Power Terra bull bar. Love the way it looks. Now to start planning lights. Last pic is to show what the front camera looks like.

Had a first oil change at 800 miles because I was there to get cred card key programmed. Key didn’t work, so I got ripped on eBay. Live and learn. It had been programmed before. Still considering whether to get one or not. Service manager came out and said he thought my LC was the best looking one he had seen and brought three more staff out to look at it and ask question. That was nice but overall disappointing.

It was ruff paying the dealer for the key, but it worked 1st try. IMO the best e-key I've ever used.
