🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

Got the bike rack put on. Time to hit the trails with the kiddo.
Don't forget to turn off all the "anti-back up" crud! I knew to do it, but forgot the 1st couple of times and a mini panic set in. I modded mine with a magnet for an electric brake and now I don't have to worry about it.

Made some fender liners to fill the voids left from crash bar removal when winch bumper was installed.

Yesterday I put in those silly little puddle lights from Amazon.

Today we put the Coverados on. My wife’s been using them in her GXs for years. I’m not super thrilled with their fitment, but they look pretty good, are pretty breathable (I always run seat ventilation), and hold up well.

Sorry for the crooked photo, but not sorry enough to retake it 😆

so is this leather to protect your leather? looks perforated - the air gets through enough?

It’s “premium faux leather” — I feel like it takes a bit longer to feel the ventilation, same with the heated seats function (at least with my wife’s GX, I haven’t used it yet in my LC).

They run about $100 on Amazon, which I feel is a good value for what these are. They’re not perfect but they’re pretty darn good.

nice. that's a good deal then if they work for you.

Last modification done, hitting the trails tomorrow!

Dissent step sliders, very stout and very well made!

Install sucked all they have is a video with them already installed which isn’t allot of help. Packaging was crap as well. Shipping was fast and customer response was good at next business every time. Wait was terrible, ordered mid Feb and received today (6 week lead time was BS). All parts for install were included and I’m amazed nothing went missing due to crap packing and box damage.

If they weren’t built so well and exactly what I wanted I would have got a refund from the negatives.

I'm not usually one to debadge my vehicles, nor am I a big fan of the blacked out look. However, as someone who works in brand identity/creative direction/graphic design, I disliked the general design of the iForceMax badge, felt the chrome made it stand out way too much on an otherwise black truck, and the name had a "trying too hard" cheesy faux-aggressive feel to it.

It's 92 degrees, my truck is parked outside because it doesn't fit in the garage. The badge and all the adhesive came off with nothing more than my fingernails. A few minutes with the clay bar and a quick spray of wax - and it's like it never existed.

Added the Pirate Camp Co drop down rear roof parcel shelf. Just what I was looking for. Adds some extra storage and is different than anything else I’ve seen for a rear shelf. Love how it pulls down for easier access and locks back into place when up. I only wish they provided a better handle. The one given is plastic and of lesser quality than the rest of the shelf. Now the shipping cost from Australia…. Well, not great. But worth it to me.

I really like this design. I actually just got done installing the CA Tuned version of this shelf a few minutes ago (will post photos and thoughts later today).

Where does this mount - remove the handles and use those bolt locations?
