🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

replaced the stock Yokohama's with BFG 34x10.5xr17, Tacoma steelies. rock rails and air compressor the last of the garage parts that need installed.
got 18,000 miles out of the Yokohama's and probably could have squeezed out a few thousand more
Are those Tacoma steelies the same width and offset as the regular 18” OEM alloys that come on most LC’s?

I had a 1958 so my stock wheels are offset 70
these tacoma steelies are 60 and are 17X7
Dang. The OEM alloys are 60 offset (but 18”). I guess I might have to go with the Tundra steelies as a solution to mount my Michelin X Ice tires on when I remove them.

I put these leather seatbelt pillar protectors on today for both driver side and passenger. Install was tedious, however, the outcome, looks almost stock.

Bought a front/rear FitcamX. Haven't installed it yet, but it's here, on the workbench!
Got the FitcamX installed this morning. Everything seems to have gone well, but I have a question.

I thought that a recording was created and stored on the memory card. I can't find any recording. How do I access it? There doesn't seem to be any help in the install/user manual.

Sorry to bump an old post, but I was wondering how that screen is still working out now that it's been a few months? Any compatibility issues with Toyota's OTA updates?

I'm on the fence between buying a 1958 and a LC Base, and if I go with the 1958 this might be one of the upgrades I make.
Works just as intended no issues on that. Recently I found out I can even play YouTube on it haha. If I’m parked somewhere for a while waiting I throw something up on it. Not sure on the OTA updates, idk how to check that.

Test drive both and buy the one that makes sense to you. If you want something that you can mod and build off of and don’t mind the utilitarian interior then go for the 1958.

Thanks, that’s very helpful! I test drove a 1958 today and I think it would be perfect for me. I actually prefer the exterior appearance of the 1958 over the LC base, and the interior parts I don’t like can be upgraded pretty easily.

Put the skid plate back on after installing the Slee radiator crossmember reinforcement thing.

Swapped the summer tires back on:

Installed a rear mount 5 tire spare holder.

(No not really, that's just for taking all the wheels to the tire shop for the swap.)
