Removed, painted and reinstalled.Nice. Hadn't even thought about the panels.
Did you swap them for a black version or are the silver just covers that can be removed?
Taking them off and putting back are kind of tricky stuffs

It looks like you have these panels on the OEM roof rack, is that correct? Just checking since their website states "Designed to work with our GreenLane roof rack - fitment with other racks is NOT confirmed or advised".View attachment 33529View attachment 33530
Finally managed to get away for some much needed camping.
Also installed a molle rear window panel from Greenlane Offroad. Ordered some mini track recovery boards for the panel.
Were the caps a direct replacement. I’m looking at Toyota PT998-35221-3S caps. I think they are the same caps you purchased. Can you confirm?
Looks great. Who did you go thru to get this imported in. I've been looking to buy one. Thanks in advance.Installed a factory 250 snorkel that I imported from Australia.
I'd like to know that too, I saw a guy in UAE that imported one from Australia to his country but, it seemed a really convoluted process for him. Ifrc he had set up a postal box in Australia and had it sent there then paid for international mail forwarding or something. Hoping this guy has a simpler and cheaper method of import.Looks great. It is interesting that you have three RotoPax spots going horizontally down the center of the Greenlane window panel. The one on their website only has 2 (no center). Did you have to ask for this special or is the photo on their website wrong? Also, what are the green cargo boxes you have on your rack in this photo?View attachment 33529View attachment 33530

$350 for just the shipping it was that with the cost of the snorkel as well? One way is a bit steep and the other seems really reasonable lolI ended up doing this:
1. I signed up for a free Australian freight forwarding service called AUSFF (ausff.com.au).
2. I then found an Australian Toyota parts dealership that had the snorkel in stock. I chose Nunawading Toyota. (Snorkel Link)
3. The cost of shipping to the US from AUS (pre-tarriffs) was around $350 USD

Why? Just curious..Installed a factory 250 snorkel that I imported from Australia.
Actually the shipping price snuck up on me, I definitely wasn’t expecting it to cost that much. Unfortunately, I didn’t do my homework on what it might cost and I only found out once it was at the freight forwarding company, what it would cost to get it to me. That’s also why I shared my experience and what I went through to get it.$350 for just the shipping it was that with the cost of the snorkel as well? Honestly, I loved the aesthetic and having a piece of the Prado that’s not available in the US, on my LC. I’d love to say that I had some grand use for it, I think it looks pretty cool… it sounds good too. (I’m aware that they have a use lol)Why? Just curious..
Yeah I'd like to have it for many of the same reasons, I'll have to hold off until hopefully it's brought stateside, my wife never flips out over any of my purchases but, I think she'd have an issue with $350 for just shippingHonestly, I loved the aesthetic and having a piece of the Prado that’s not available in the US, on my LC. Shoot, I had a problem with the $350 for shipping, I absolutely understand that!Yeah I'd like to have it for many of the same reasons, I'll have to hold off until hopefully it's brought stateside, my wife never flips out over any of my purchases but, I think she'd have an issue with $350 for just shipping.
Looking at the snorkel, I'm sure Toyota thought it through but, how does the snorkel keep like rain out?Shoot, I had a problem with the $350 for shipping, I absolutely understand that!![]()
