🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

Finally managed to get away for some much needed camping.

Also installed a molle rear window panel from Greenlane Offroad. Ordered some mini track recovery boards for the panel.
It looks like you have these panels on the OEM roof rack, is that correct? Just checking since their website states "Designed to work with our GreenLane roof rack - fitment with other racks is NOT confirmed or advised".

Installed a factory 250 snorkel that I imported from Australia.

A little bit of "Tom-switchery" - Installed some new CH4x4 OEM style cube switches to replace previous same switches, but now with white LED's and backlights to match factory style switches, instead of blue. First few pics of the new switch to control my new "mini" roof rack side lights (post here), installed in the center console into the blank, and next pics of the new light bar switch in the left side main panel.

P.S. I've really learned to like the replacement panel in the center console (link here). Yes, its tiny, but looks completely OEM and it perfectly fits my Apple magsafe wallet, which I take off the back of the phone so my phone can lay flat and make contact with the charging pad. I'm easily pleased :D

Looks great. Who did you go thru to get this imported in. I've been looking to buy one. Thanks in advance.
I'd like to know that too, I saw a guy in UAE that imported one from Australia to his country but, it seemed a really convoluted process for him. Ifrc he had set up a postal box in Australia and had it sent there then paid for international mail forwarding or something. Hoping this guy has a simpler and cheaper method of import.

I ended up doing this:
1. I signed up for a free Australian freight forwarding service called AUSFF (ausff.com.au).
2. I then found an Australian Toyota parts dealership that had the snorkel in stock. I chose Nunawading Toyota. (Snorkel Link)
3. The cost of shipping to the US from AUS (pre-tarriffs) was around $350 USD

It is interesting that you have three RotoPax spots going horizontally down the center of the Greenlane window panel. The one on their website only has 2 (no center). Did you have to ask for this special or is the photo on their website wrong? Also, what are the green cargo boxes you have on your rack in this photo?

$350 for just the shipping it was that with the cost of the snorkel as well? One way is a bit steep and the other seems really reasonable lol

Actually the shipping price snuck up on me, I definitely wasn’t expecting it to cost that much. Unfortunately, I didn’t do my homework on what it might cost and I only found out once it was at the freight forwarding company, what it would cost to get it to me. That’s also why I shared my experience and what I went through to get it.

Honestly, I loved the aesthetic and having a piece of the Prado that’s not available in the US, on my LC. I’d love to say that I had some grand use for it, I think it looks pretty cool… it sounds good too. (I’m aware that they have a use lol)
Yeah I'd like to have it for many of the same reasons, I'll have to hold off until hopefully it's brought stateside, my wife never flips out over any of my purchases but, I think she'd have an issue with $350 for just shipping 😂.
