Well considering I drove through a deluge today, my mind immediately went to that same thought. LolLooking at the snorkel, I'm sure Toyota thought it through but, how does the snorkel keep like rain out?
This looks great, how was the installation like? Is there a manual?View attachment 35000View attachment 35001
Added the roof rails and side steps during the week. CATuned brush guard arrived last night and installed today.
Yeah, I always thought to myself if I had a safari snorkel, I'd turn the head of it to face the rear of the vehicle to avoid bugs and water from entering as much. I've looked at this style on the Tacoma and wondered how it works. I unfortunately have to park outside so I wasn't sure how it'd do. Might have to check around Tacoma forums and see what they say.Well considering I drove through a deluge today, my mind immediately went to that same thought. Lol
I applied silver vinyl overlays on the tailgate logos from StickerFab to my new 1958. They look great and the silver is pretty close to the silver of the letters on the grille. I think it looks a ton better. And yes - I fixed the crooked C and the R that was too low.
Think I’m going to add the Full Time 4WD emblem to the right side like I mocked up.
And oh yeah - I added the heritage tricolor tag frame and ditched the frame with the dealer name.

The mud flaps are from Cartrimhome. Great quality for the price.Very nice! I added the full-time 4wd badge to mine in about the same area too...I think it looks great.
Loving this look! I really need to get those wheels to swap in for my 20's, I think they are my favorite so far and I want to stay OEM/Toyota. I also want to get those visors, but I am still traumatized from having "surprise!" spiders live in them when I had them on my 80 in Okinawa, lol.
Did you go OEM on the mud flaps too or are those the Cartrimhome ones?
Beautiful visors. Could you list the part number please? Thanks.

No worries. That setup looks really nice.I wish I could help you, but I went OEM and ordered an actual badge off of ebay, sorry. I also have the Prado badge and I think they complement each other nicely.
No worries. That setup looks really nice.
Thanks! If it helps, the OEM badge measurements are 6 3/4" x 1 3/8".
All I can say is it has worked like magic for me. Absolute game changer when washing my 4 ft. motorhome. Pressure washer, foam cannon, lambs wool pad and rinse withe Simple Chuck system and I’m done in about an hour and half by myself. 40 ft. Long 12 ft. tall not bad.I'll have to research this. If true, it might be worth the price tag...
