🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

Today I completed a massive modification to my truck. I believe I am now a qualified Toyota technician, if not a vehicle design engineer.

I replaced this POS:

With this slightly larger POS

The contour lines give me additional points in the dadmobile competitions.

She got some new shoes today. This is what the LC should look like coming from the factory.

RRW RG4-H Hybrid MonoForged Wheel/ Matte Gunmetal / 18x8.5 | 6x139.7 | +25 | 5.73"
Westcott level kit
Just the right amount of poke.
how does this appear to be less poke than 8.5 with +35? I give up.

Picked my LC up today! Immediately drove it to our body guy for a tint and windshield protection. It’ll be going back for ppf and maybe a roof wrap. Was lowkey worried I wouldn’t like the color but turns out I love it!

(Also pictured is my wife’s GX… now we’ve got His & Hers Prados 😂)

I got four ramps and makes allot of work under there easier and with a 3" lift I can now even use my creeper again.

The 250 is a bit of pain to get it up the ramps slowly and safely without fall over at the top, it is quite touchy on the throttle and requires quite a bit of input to climb up compared to our Volvo V50 AWD which just pops right up with no effort. Brake hold is your friend when doing this.

Let’s see, what did I do today to my LC…. Oh yeah, I filled the tank with gas and just drove it. Yeah. And I enjoyed every minute of it! Sorry, I got nothing more. :)

Looks great. Trail Dust looks so much better in person. Pictures are all over the place which I guess is the same for most colors. Love the GX too!

Awesome combo! First thing I did was take off the front and rear Kendall advertisement., Great dealership, but that bright yeller was too much
lol don’t worry, I’ll be doing that when I get it back! Black frames too (plate and frames are already in the vehicle).

EscapeGear seat covers in “Dark Grey Tough Canvas” arrived today from South Africa.

Had these on other cars and they were brilliant - 60k miles and six years of daily driving with no wear and no visible wear to OEM seats/fabrics.

These have always been on my agenda. Not listed on the EscapeGear website yet but a couple of SA owners have been able to make special orders -BTW, The EuroSpec 2.8D Invincible is the same spec as the South Africa Prado 2.8GD VX-R

Photos to follow.

Evaluation out of 10 [after a hurried install]:

- Quality: 9

- Fit: 7.5 - more a reflection of the 250 design/complexity - EscapeGear have done a great job.

- Value for money: 8 - not cheap at £463 GBP [including P&P] but quality rarely comes cheap and the material is TOUGH!!

Suspect EscapeGear will refine the pattern in response to customer feedback.

Floormats also in the pipeline according to EscapeGear.
Photos - will finesse the fitting at the weekend

Armor LC ? ;)
Nah … It’s window grill / vent. The design is cool that matches the window molle panel. I use it as secured ventilation while park and lock my LC at work parking lot under super hot sun 🌞. (It has groove at bottom so that window can tuck inside, overlap and no gap)

It also can be used during rainy day, but want to have good ventilation. I know the window visor can do that job, but this works well for purpose above.
Inside, it has very fine metal mess to prevent bugs flying in

Anyway, it is cool design that I want to share with gang ;)
Happy LC to all

Today I just installed the NYTOP rear recovery point.
I attached all photos for you guys can see how beefy it is to compare with OEM one (actually the OEM one is not for recovery in super stuck situations, but it for tightened while transportation)
