👋 Welcome to the new Land Cruiser Forum - Please post an introduction thread!

Hi. Decided to register while our dealership tries to find a ‘27 Premium trade or adjust one allotted to them with a couple specific colors and the Java leather interior. Was even tough to find one to look at because the dozen coming in are all spoken for already. Mid August was going to be the first one not already reserved, then our closest dealership got one in that we were able to test drive. It’s got a couple things on it not meeting what we want (eg it has black interior, 20” wheels, and a full roof rack), but it’s still sitting there. Might change our mind on interior color if we don’t want to wait until September. Amazing how these are selling before hitting the lots (white seems to be the exception color).

Anyway, was a longtime Toyota owner (multiple vehicles including an 05 Tacoma we had for 16 years). Been a member (and was an admin) on another Toyota forum (still visit it today) where I still answer questions and just hang out to chat with regulars in an off topic forum. Left Toyota vehicles when I got tired of their transmission problems with their highlanders (3 of them covering 2 gens). So I’ll be coming back to Toyota soon.

Spend time in the winter snow wheeling (have a ‘23 GMC Canyon AT4), so I might try out the LC for that…we’ll see though because it is pretty heavy for that. Oh yeah, I’m in northern Nevada (used to live in heavier snow country). I’m retired, so the LC will be for pleasure only!
Welcome to the asylum.

Well, gave up on waiting for them to find one in the colors we wanted. Picked up this one today.

Currently in Nairobi for work and Washington State is my home. LC250 Prado right hand drive for a new work truck, big improvement over my old LC78 hardtop. The 250 is a Toyota of Gibraltar truck. It has skid plates, 4.5K KG winch, bull bumper, Kenwood NX-5800 radio, and a PA system with siren. Back home I'm either in my Ram2500 pulling a trailer or my 2014 4runner trail, skids, sliders and kings remotes. Going from right hand to left hand drive takes a minute but I'm used to it now. New truck and a picture of changing from old to new.

Primarily, but there are many members with other series. What do you have?

My first Toyota, a white 2023 LC 150. Just done my first 2 miles in it (dropping the delivery man back to his transporter). Gorgeous ... a very good turning circle, quiet, comfortable, lush gearbox, excellent visibility. Quiet ... I love it!

Welcome and congrats on the new truck! You’re one of the first I’ve seen here with Inked. How do you like it in person?

Your username means you owe us the dog pic tax!

Thanks! The Inked has a nice sparkle to it. As someone mentioned earlier, it’s a deep black at night and really shines with the right light.

The dogs love their new ride as well.
