Looking for toyota's official wade/fording depth, i found this in the owner's manual. The static submersion limit is the vehicle's floor.
I found 500mm (20") fording depth too online, but not in the manual. [700mm for non or mild hybrid]. Might have missed it the manual.
I think the static limitation is more useful and critical than fording depth, since you can potentially get stuck fording water, then the bow wave effect is irrelevant.

I know the rear diff breather is on the axle and needs to be raised, anyone know if the front diff has an extended breather from the factory? My first gen taco the front breather extends high into the engine bay.
I've read somewhere on here before that all the other ones are raised except for the rear diff. I put the arb rear diff breather on not long after I got mine and mounted it under the hood.
