I just did it and it fits. Did you take the plastic black washer piece out of the rav4 knob? I think it looks like you did not remove it from your pic. It just pops out really easy. That has to be removed

I second this, you need to pull the black plastic part on the back off.

When I read your post earlier, I missed this line: "remove the spacer/beauty stand off from the RAV4 knob". Since the stock knob had the little spacer too, I just assumed it stayed. thanks!

You literally just pull it off. I wouldn’t say that it is done gently, though. You do need to pull with a little force. Maybe this video will help.

That one’s really nice. I have the MACE one now but it looks a bit oversized plus light doesn’t shine throwing it anymore.

I also got the one without the topo design and the large flat area looks a bit out of place
