Before and after. The backlit light ring shining through the new knob is more muted than the original. I’m fine with it and prefer it. I did try it with the spacer stand off removed, but ended up keeping it on cause I thought it tunneled more light to the ring.

It’s a million times better. The original drove me mad with needing two finger operation. This one you can rest your hand on the dash bump out below and use one finger to adjust volume with the rubberized grip. It’s weird the random oversight on the small stuff like this. The little ergonomics make a big difference on a bumpy trail being jostled back and forth. At least there’s an easy fix for this one.
This forum and thread is great. Picked my LC mid up today and drove 250mi home, the OEM volume knob stinks. Rav4 part ordered.
eta: They put the volume control and voice/siri too close on the wheel controls IMHO. So, I prefer the knob, which I wish was located under the screen as in Europe/ME/etc.

It works perfectly. I took off the RAV4 knobs when I traded in my Taco. Tried one on the LC and it works fine.
No offense, but that post was very old. I might have been the 1st to do the RAV4 swap on the LC.

All, I cannot get the RAV4 knob on. Seems the plastic flange on the back of the knob is bigger than the stock knob (see my pick where the stock knob fits inside the rav knob) and it won’t fit into the space it’s supposed to go in. What am I missing?
I just did it and it fits. Did you take the plastic black washer piece out of the rav4 knob? I think it looks like you did not remove it from your pic. It just pops out really easy. That has to be removed
