When you were routing the cable through, did you notice if there is room to cut out a separate hole near the door latch hole you used? Also, is there enough cable included to set the amp fully on the glove box shelf? The picture you provided shows the amp half on it and half off.
The harness can be snug or loose depending how it’s routed & LCs equipment. I have the larger NAV screen & pulled it out for the install. I could have run it different & had a bit more length. The unit will sit flat on Velcro on the table in the glove box. Yes, there is a way to run the harness in if you wanted to make a hole & use grommet.
