Have you tried the RAV volume knob on your Land Cruiser?
If so, does the interior circle light up like it does in the RAV when the interior lights are on?

I agree, you don’t have to lean over or reach really. At first I thought it was a weird spot but now I like it.I’m sure I’m in the minority here, but I like the location of it. The way I hold the steering wheel while driving its is more natural for me to reach for it as opposed to somewhere below the screen.
yes its plug and play. Easyto confirm, the Rav4 knob is plug and play? pull old knob, push new knob on = done?
thanks guys! i like the Rav4 knob design
No it's not plug and play, almost tho'to confirm, the Rav4 knob is plug and play? pull old knob, push new knob on = done?

thanks, i figured this out a moment before you posted as i started pushing it on and it wasn't going.... thought to myself, "i could push harder or step back". glad i figured it out! lolNo it's not plug and play, almost tho'
No tools are needed, just pull the OEM knob off, remove the spacer/beauty stand off from the RAV4 knob, push the RAV4 knob onto the radio shaft
This is an old post and not exactly answering the question, but you can pause the radio from the steering wheel by press & holding the Mode selection button. Thanks for the offer, I'm very familiar with voice command, orig post was concerning a button on the steering wheel to turn off the radio.
Do you happen to have a link for that please? I can't seem to find itYes and Yes (when you have the headlights on)View attachment 23166

Thanks so much
It might even be easier to use than the rocker volume control on the steering wheel. To use that you sort of have to position your hand differently than it is when using the wheel.I agree, you don’t have to lean over or reach really. At first I thought it was a weird spot but now I like it.
PicsCan report.. the ZR knob is a direct replacement and fits perfectly. It could be a little bigger, but that may look strange and it would cover the volume lettering below. It is 100% better than the original and looks OEM. I got the black one and it blends perfect with the dash on the LC trim. The silver version would also look good. I found out today by installing, that if you push the volume knob it will mute the audio. (I should read the manual). The finish and machining is perfect and the metal has good grip. I think the person that make these also does high end gun parts, so there was time put into designing this. I have seen him comment on other forums, and I believe he has a LC.
It has little light holes to allow the back light to travel through the knob so you can see it at night. My only real suggestion which is minor, is that the knob could be fitted with a clear plastic internal ring to bring the light through the knob a little better. You can tell the light source is coming from behind the knob. This is very minor and just my opinion. The stock Toyota knobs use clear plastic to defuse and direct the light to the front of the knob.
I am happy with it and can recommend over stock.
I may try the the RAV4 knob just for comparison, but this one looks better and a little more unique.
The 1958 has a different placement of the knob. I'm going to swap mine this week.Just made the swap on my vehicle, soo much better! Much easier to grab and control too. Pictures below for comparison

For 1958s, there’s no need to remove the spacer stand off. Left mine intact with no issues. No it's not plug and play, almost tho'
