This set up looks amazing…How much space do you have to the upper control arm in the front, seems like those tires would give you a half-inch space on the inside?

In reverse, full lock they did, but some small adjustments to the liner on the front fixed that
Has anyone measured the speedometer with factory 265s? I am trying to upgrade tires but keep my speedo and MPG reasonably accurate. I thought 275 was the largest I would go until I tested the speedo compared to google maps and an additional app speed reading. Seems that with OEM tires going about 58 MPH when speedometer says 60. If this is true, it would be most accurate with 285/70/18 tires. One day I will find a friendly cop with a speed gun to confirm this
Small difference, in that the 1958 wheel flairs are slightly more narrower than other models. Maybe 0.5"?
Make sure his radar gun is calibrated properly.
My bet is that a good GPS will be very accurate..
Did you see much loss at all MPG wise? The look is great and the weight is close so I figure the loss may be negligible hopefully. I always try to find close to stock weight AT tires. The LTs are just too heavy and you feel it daily driving plus the mileage hit. I tried some LTs on my GX460 and swapped the next day to Toyo AT SL stock size. Your pics look great, these appear to be a great option for slightly larger tires.
Decided to swap out the 265/70/18 Cooper Discoverer Road and Trail AT's for the 275/70/18 General Grabber ATx's. Just wanted to max out rubber and still be able to fit underside carrier for the spare. Both sets are 116 load class so much better ride and fuel economy than an E rated tire. The Generals not as responsive as the Coopers and feel like a firmer ride but road noise low and about the same with both. I did have the Generals on my Taco and have been very happy with them in the past.

looks good.. is this leveled or stock ? I have the same tires size coming and between leveling it or not ?
No levelling, no lift, no rubbing even at full compression/articulation. Verified throughout posts with this combo and fits the spare tire location.

The Nitto Terra Grappler G3 at 275/70/18 seems like an excellent choice based on size, SL rating, weight, performance, etc.
