Curious on your thoughts after you've had more time to drive it: 1) are the road manners more harsh with a load E tire and 2) is it more sluggish, and assume less MPG. Hard to baseline those comparisons with only 300 miles pre new tires, but curious nevertheless.

I’m still waiting to see 285/70r18 AT’s (wildpeaks?) on stock 18x7.5 wheels, LC trim with no lift or other suspension mods. It appears 275’s fit fine but 285’s??

Tundra/Sequoia TRD Pro BBS Forged Wheels - 18"x8.5" - 47.5mm offset. The tires are the factory Wildpeak in 285/65R18.

The original question on this thread was about the 1958, but I've noticed most of the examples are for the FE.

I think the 1958 doesn't have the disconnect, so can accommodate bigger tires at full flex, so good to make the distinction?

I like those, and the offset would push it out a bit for a better stance. I've also been seeing the wheels below on '24 Tacos, but can't find a part number for them. They're 18" and 6-bolt pattern, but I'd like to confirm 6x139.7 and what offset is.View attachment 1852

I did, he found the photos elsewhere and it wasnt his vehicle.

Note that offset is relative to the wheel width, not the vehicle. A +20 offset in an 7.5 inch wheel looks VERY different to a +20 offset in a 9 inch wheel.

New shoes today Falken AT4W 265/70/18 SL load range

I will say even with load. Range SL it rides rougher than stock Michelins , noise is not an issue , but ride is harsher . I will check air pressure and see if they are too high

This was the reason I went with the Falken Rubitrek which is a milder AT tire than the Wildpeaks. I hope they eventually workout for you. Let us know what PSI they were running at.

I ordered icon wheels recon slx in 18x9+40 and 285/70r18 tires today, should be here on Tuesday. Outside of Ben Calhoon/dissent Offroad, I have not seen anything in this size without spacer/lift. fingers crossed they work out… I will post here once installed with details.
