The TRD Pro knob snaps into place and functions correctly, the shift boot doesn't snap back onto rhe knob though.

I wonder if I get the 4runner shift boot, maybe I can get the plastic pieces off of it and make it work.

Looks like the smaller hole is for a 7/8 pin bow shackle. The bumper trim will need more trimming to use that correctly.View attachment 56721

I used an angle grinder with a cut off wheel. I'm sure some Aviation Snips or heavy duty plastic cutting shears would work too.

No, stock rear coil springs.

I only wanted the front level with the rear, hence the 1.5" from the TRD front coils and .625" from my 8mm top hat spacer.

The front coilovers raised the ride height up by 1.5". Rears are just shocks, so no ride height increase.

@turbo8 It looks like there is a second video that is a duplicate. In one of the comments, he says it is from the Tacoma TRD factory lift….. with the 25% off parts, I wanted to go ahead and order the red ones you used.

I paid~$540 for my upper arms, not sure why that kit is so much more, especially when they look to be the exact same arms.

According to Toyota the upper arms are stiffer, stronger, gives further adjustability towards caster and camber and allows longer suspension travel

The part #s you listed are ~$440 shipped right now. I think I’ll go with those. Do I need to get anything else? I plan on taking it to a shop to swap because I don’t have the time or room to do it at home.

That is a no brainer then. I didn't need anything else, it is a pretty straight forward swap. The upper balljoint cotter pin is even the reusable type.

I did not. After thinking about it, i didn't want any TRD logos inside and the TRD knob didn't feel as good as the stock shift knob.
